hello guys
i believe we all here are the WATCHERS who enjoys searching for our beloved royals' photos. those who are pretty realistic have noticed that even royal beauties like Máxima have their small "defects" - all those wrinkles and freckles :P
Lets post here the "realistic" photos of Princess instead of the polished ones where every inch looks perfect .. it might be interesting

She has alot of sun damage for someone her age. Aside from that she is one of my fave princesses. She seems like a "real" person. Very warm and friendly.

yess , i agree with you , Máxima is not beautiful (the world beauty is too big for her) ,Rania could be beautiful ,actually she is gorgeous ... but Máxima has Charm , style, a very unique style, she is pretty but not beautiful , she has something that you dont know what it is but make you ADORE , she is elegant , she is friendly , warm , and above all ,she has CARISMA !
She has something , that make her very interesting!

Charm and charisma are far more powerful than beauty. As they say "beauty fades..."

I actually believe that wrinkles and freckles, etc... add to a person's character and beauty in a way. Imagine if everyone were perfect. What a boring world this would be.

Yes, she has charm. Maybe she is not perfect, but she is also not a ugly duckling.

Hi!

Maxima may not have movie star looks, but there's something very appealing about her. She shines! She's the sort of person who obviously lights up a room when they enter it.

I think her 'faults' only make her appear more natural, and they show she doesn't wear a 'mask' in public.

What you see is what you get with her.. and the Dutch are very lucky!

To me, Máxima is a very pretty girl, but what makes her beautiful, what makes her shine, are her charm, charisma, and personality....She has IT, which is quite difficult to convey via photos, but she does it, and she looks like she's a genuine, down-to-earth girl, the kind you can be good pals with and share a good belly laugh with. Even with her freckles and wrinkles, she's still beautiful in my book. ^_^

I have to agree with all those who have said that while Maxima may not be a stunning beauty in the way of movie star looks, she definitietly possesses charm and charisma. And I would add to that that she has a spirit and enthusiasm about her that would be easy to get swept away in. When I look at pictures of Maxima smiling and throwing her head back in laughter, I imagine that she has one of those laughs that truly emanates from your body, not one of those fake laughs, and I can see how it would be easy to get caught up in the moment with her.

I ABSOLUTELY agree with you all. Maxima posses something that shines through from the inside out. Her smile is real and her eyes just sparkle--I would love to meet her in person because her beautiful personally would be so gripping and I'd be able to see the sparkle in her eyes more.

Rania it's true is more beautiful physically, but she lacks that glow about her--that spark that Maxima so easily displays in her smiles and expersions. I feel that Rania sometimes "hides" behind ALL the make-up and fancy clothes. BUT if you look at some of Rania's old pictures before she was queen and early on she wasn't more beautiful than Maxima, actually Maxima was more attractive because it seems that she has a better personallity.

I suppose that is what is important :flower: However they are all humans, subjected to wrinkles, freckles, acne, weight gain, puffy eyes...etc B)

She's one person I hope doesn't succumb to the botox craze. What would happen to all of her lively facial expressions? I hope she remains a good role model for us and accepts her aging gracefully.

Maxima's personality does, indeed, demonstrates warmth and charisma, however, what's wrong with "freckles"? I've had freckles all of my life and they haven't interfered with my happiness. When my wrinkles begin, you can bet I'll go to my favorite line of "wrinkle cream" !! and stay out of the sun, or at least, wear a big floppy hat, but I agree that "freckles and wrinkles" do not define a person's personality. CP Maxima seems to be loved wherever she goes ~ warts and all! The most important factor in CP Maxima's life is a loving husband, . . . and a new heathly baby!

This thread has been cleaned up. Unfortunately, all but a few photos are gone, due to broken links.

I think she has too many wrinkles for her age and a lot of sun damage too, if I was her I would use botox, but I must say she has the best smile from all the Crown princesses, it looks so sponatenous and genuine. I wonder how she looked when she met her husband the first time , at the biginning when they were dating, I am sure she was so diferent in the way that she i=use before to drees etc.... now she had been polished by her position as a princess
