Princess Maxima attended the start of the National campaign Burendag
(Neighbour's Day) 2010 in the neighbourhood Lombok in Utrecht. The
princess attended in her capacity as Patroness of the Oranje Fonds,
April 23, 2010.

23-04-2010 Princess Maxima visited the area Lombok in Utrecht for the campaign Burendag (Neighbours' Day) of the Oranjefonds.

Yesterday, August 31, Crown Prince Willem-Alexander visited two projects
of the Oranje Fonds: the art project 'Zon op Zuid' (southern sun) in Arnhem
and 'Het Dagelijks Bestaan' (daily life) in Zutphen for young people who left
school earlier than usual.

Crown Princess Maxima and Crown Prince Willem-Alexander attended the final meeting of the
orange foundation growth program. The program offers social pioneers an intensive training
and coaching program aimed at the sustainable growth of successful initiatives, September
27, 2010.

Crown Prince Willem-Alexander attended the conference "The Power of Sport"
at the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam, November 11, 2010. The conference was
organized by the Orange Fund as a sequel to the award "Appeltjes van Oranje
2010" and highlighted sports as a social binder.

The Princess will attend the last meeting of the " Beste Maatjes" an Orange Fund project,at Nijkerk today.
The project started aiming to get volunteers.

The project aimed at mentors and coaches for the underpriviliged in terms of learning and skills.Meanwhile the
project has 4000 volunteers and over 250 coaches,so you can call it a huge succes.

It is -2 degrees celcius here at the moment, very cold for November. And added to that, yesterday it also started snowing. It all resulted in the longest evening trafic congestiuon ever yesterday evening.

Anyway, good to see the princess out & about. And even better that she finally seems to realize that she looks better when her haur is ina bun.
 
Maxima seems to be busy these days, though she seems happy at all events. Maxima is looking good with her hair up.
 
Indeed she is, a magazine calculated that she had more public engagements this year than any year before, which is a good thing.
 
The Princess attended the national work-conference " Back-up " at the Museum for Communication,The Hague,december 2nd.

Main theme of this conference organised by the Orange Fund was the participation of volunteers in enhancing chances for the future of children.

The participants consisted of coordinators in the field and education officials.

Today, September 1st, Crown Prince Alexander has made a visit to a sports initiative in Amersfoort
that offers people with a mental illness the opportunity to play sports in a group and get in touch
with members of normal teams. The project is supported by the Oranje Fonds.

Today, September 24, Crown Prince Willem-Alexander has attended the Burendag 2011 in Apeldoorn.

Burendag (Neighbours Day) is an initiative of the Oranje Fonds and the coffee brand Douwe Egberts
where activities are organized to help residents to get in contact with each other.

Princess Máxima,Co-Patron,visited the "Children make Music" project of the Orange Foundation in Utrecht this morning.

The Children Make Music program was announced by the Princess in may at the time of her birthday.Meanwhile the Fund has selected 31 organisations that do receive funding for projects in the field.Today was the first exchange day of the selected organisations where they met and,ofcourse,exchanged experiences.Great program,I think.:)

Thank you Iceflower for this post. Crown Prince Willem-Alexander looks rather jolly here although I do hear he has quite a humorous side to him. Crown Princess Maxima looks lovely her in her chocolate suit. I do like the darker shaded pockets on the jacket. Adds a very elegant touch.
 
The Princess will visit the music project ` Klasse!` at the St.Joseph elementary school,Heerhugowaard,tuesday january 17th.

The project is part of the Children Make Music program by the Orange Fund of which HRH is Co/Patron aling with her husband.
