haha so true. gotta say I like that multi-bracelet look on the queen. Sophia of Spain, who is of course great friends with Beatrix, also has this look.

And as for Maxima looking older than her age, or younger sometimes--it might have a lot to do with the photographs. I know tons of people who in pictures look entirely different from the real-life version. Generally the rule seems to be: whatever someone looks like in a photo, in real life they look ten times better. Which in Maxima's case means she must be a real stunner irl.

Maxima was in Arnhem today to hand out the first microcredit to a Start Smart participant. Arnhem is only 15 minutes away from the great city of N. (where I live :p) but I'm suffering from a big blister on my right foot, I can't even wear shoes. And I was determined to go and see the princess! Oh well, luckily picture press europe was there too: :)

Needless, to say: I loved what she was wearing, especially the hat. :)

Maxima looks terrific today. I love her hat - the style & colour really suit her!

The jacket and the hat are wonderful, but to me trousers and a hat combined look a bit odd.
