thank you so much for the pics!!! are marvellous!
i think it is possible that this girl is a babysitter and not her sister, it does not look like her, and it is possible that may be she has an argentinean babysitter since Amalia born, beacuse she might want them to practice the spanish and this is a good way to keep with an argentinean upbringing, may be...or may be is just a babysitter for the time that they are in Argentina and in Holland she has a dutch babysitter, who knows??????

I think she is a nanny or a relative. I'm 100% sure she is not Inès and she doesnt look like any of Máxima's friends that I have seen in photos.

She's not a relative, so I guess its the nanny

Awwww...I just love these three little girls. They are so adorable. I love the picture with Amalia kissing Ariane and Maxima and Alexia laughing! :wub:Thanks for posting!

according to elmundo.es, beatrix is now in argentina. she travelled apparently with her two other sons, their wives and her 5 other grandchildren and met w-a, maxima and the girls in argentina.

i find it great that all the family supports maxima and decides to fly to argentina to spend, all of them, the holidays with maxima and her family in her country. it not only shows support to maxima, but a really close relationship. i think it's the first time they all visit argentina. great for them!

I also find it remarkable and down-to-earth, since Máxima hadn't been able to spend Christmas in Argentina with her family for years.

It is not yet known if she (the Queen) will meet President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner or for how long she will stay after New Year's Day. The article says that the rest of the family will stay in the Patagonia until mid-January. (What about Amalia's classes then?):

Too bad for them that they are still being followed by the rpess, but lucky for us

Well, apparently the harassment stopped when they arrived to Villa La Angostura. According to this article from La Nación, the local media is very quiet, not making them unconfortable in any way, not making any comments on the presence of the RF. They even said (at a local radio) 'we don't know where Máxima is'.

I ownder if she is the bebbysitter only for argentina or she is the one in Holland too?

I think its the same babysitter from the Netherlands. Of course I'm not sure, but last time they came here(2006) the Dutch babysitter came to Argentina with them :)

I would think like you I would bring the same one, not somebody new, the kids I am sure feel very confortable with the same babysitter and I don't think it would be wise to change her for some weeks, but I must say the girls in the photo looks very Argentinean, unless she has a pemanent Argentinean babysitter, which would be good because it would be another way for the girls to listen more spanish with the argentinean accent! but of course, all this is speculation, i do not know if we can know the true?.....

I love to see these pictures so down to earth. Hopefully we will see pictures of the other children out in Argentina. Althought I hope hte press keep their distance

Máxima's bodyguard hits a photographer and a journalist

This morning, the Prince of Orange and Princess Máxima took Princess Ariane to the hospital becuase she was not feeling well. They remain an hour inside the hospital, and when they were going into the car, a bodyguard started hitting one of the photographer and a journalist becuase they were trying to take a photo of the Princess. Máxima was in shock and her husband started driving back to their house. After this, the jounalist and photographer went to the police station to report this incident.

Oh, I hope Ariane is alright, and that this isn't anything serious. I feel sorry for W-A and Maxima, it's traumatic enough to have a sick baby, but then to have photographers chasing you. They needed to be hit, that's the bodyguards job, to protect her.

The hit reporter claims that they had talked to the police for permission to stay there and take a picture from a distance, without bothering, of Maxima when she got out of the clinic. But apparently the head of guards *the bald guy who was with the girls, Carmen Cerutti and Maxima at the shopping mall* was not really keen on this.

Ariane had -apparently - something similar to what she had when she was just born, but this time due to sudden climate change.

any news about how is the condition of Ariane? hope she is ok . I am sure is a lot of stress for the parents to have her daughter sick and on top of that having the press on top of them!

She is fine. As Verde E said, her sickness was due to the climate change :)

Oh my goodness, what some people will do to get a couple of pictures. I'm glad to hear that Ariane is ok now, but hope this problem will not continue throughout her life.

Well, the photographers didnt do anything 'wrong'. They were just waiting to see Máxima's car leaving from the hospital, and the bodyguards started to attack them, including a female photographer... really incredible:eek:

Well, they were all very angry. Dirty words are so rude but when people are fighting like this, what can we expect?
I don't think the photographers were doing anything wrong. They didn't attack anyone, or put anyone's life in risk. They were doing their job, just like they did in the last photosession.
These bodyguards were too much violent , IMO.
