Maxima's hat wow, I can't say it was bad or awul, I like it:)
Little Amalia looks sweet in her dress, maybe too long and dark but nice. She stole attention from her sister when she start walking during the baptism. Alexia just sweet baby:)

wow! finally the pics are here... i was looking so forward to this baptism!!

alexia is looking absolutely cute. in some way she resembles a lot to amalia, but her eyes seem to have got some greenish colour. her face also seems slimer. she is a really cute baby. love her eyes and that lovely blonde hair.

maxima's outfit was beautiful, the only part that didn't convince me was the hat (it's not that it doesn't suit her, but if the flower was a little bit smaller it would have been better, her face seems to vanish with such a big hat!). amalia look absolutely gorgeous in her dark dress with the victorian neckline. her hair also seemed to be straightened and she was so smilie... loved the way she run to her maternal grandmother during the ceremony to be with her. i thought she wasn't able to see her much, but they apparently are quite close, which is really good. it's great she is also close to her argentinian side as she will soon be considered the first south american-european royalby birth :) to seat some day in a european throne, and i also loved the idea of her talking spanish with that beautiful argentinian accent :)

si, who were finally the godparents? i was also thinking if luana, the daughter of friso and mabel was already baptised, or if she isn't or they don't plan to baptise her or whatever. any information about her? mabel looks good but i would hope she doesn't use always the same type of viktor and rolf outfits. it's beggining to be kind of predictable, and predictable things are sometimes not good. :)

did alexia use the same christening gown as amalia?

anita is looking great. i loved her coat and that tiny purse she has... wasn't aimee there?

What a sweet baby Alexia is! And I love Amalia's dress. However, I don't think much of Maxima's hat, although the whole outfit was ok.

Thank you everybody for posting the pictures and information from Alexia's baptism. :) Willem and Maxima looked happy as can be with their two little daughters -- Amalia who was super adorable in her long green dress with the trailing ribbon!

In some of the ANP pictures I noticed Amalia going easily to Maxima's mom. I think it's nice that even though Maxima's parents live far away, Amalia has a good relationship with her maternal grandparents even if she doesn't see them as much as she sees her Grandma Beatrix.

I noticed that Eloise seemed to be the only child there. I wonder why Maurits and Marilene and Annette and Bernhard Jr. didn't bring their oldest kids. Anna, Lucas and Isabella (even Samuel) were brought to Claus-Casimir's baptism.

I was surprised to see Princess Margarita there however. Of all of Irene's kids, I am surprised that it wasn't Carlos who attended, or even Jamie or Maria-Carolina. I guess that Margarita is no longer the persona non-grata she was some years ago.

I have read a lot of comments about Maxima's hat -- I personally disliked it a lot. I thought the flower was much, much too big. Had it been a little smaller it would've been better. And such a headpiece -- it really isn't a hat I don't think -- is even worst than the kind Mette-Marit has worn on several occasions. The one saving grace abou this headpiece is that even though the flower was huge, Maxima's personality is bigger and her smile and her enthusiasm for the day were more noticeable and prevalent than the hat. Someone with a quieter personality such as Mette-Marit or Mathilde could not have pulled off such a hat with such aplomb!

I watched the baptism again and I noticed that when W-A, Maxima , Amalia and Alexia arrived at the curch and waved to the people , all the press were calling Amalia's name , and then Amalia said : Ik ben Amalia!( I'm Amalia!)
so cute !:)
