Visit to Qatar and the UAE - April 2010

Prince Haakon will visit Qatar on april 11th and 12th.

On April 13th and 14th he'll be in the United Arab Emirates.

On april 14th the Crown prince will open a business seminar in Dubai.

apparently MM was supposed to participate in the visit but due to her neck problems she was recommended by the doctors to stay and rest.

Crown Prince Haakon attends the inauguration ceremony of Qatari
aluminium producer Qatalum in the industrial city of Mesaieed, south
of Qatar April 12, 2010. Qatar's Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani
was also present (pic 4).

Qatar hopes the $5.7 billion plant in Mesaieed will stimulate further
industrial development, as well as the growth of small and medium
enterprises, said Abdulla Salatt, chairman of the Qatalum board of
directors. Qatalum is an aluminium plant joint venture built by Qatar
Petroleum and Norsk Hydro.
