Another photo. It's not great. It's from VG:

Here's the source of the story I mentioned before. It's from Dag:

"I found an amusing enquete in this week's Donald Duck & Co.: 5 young readers were asked what he or she would do if they could be prime minister for a day. How would they spend the money? Anine (12 years perhaps?) replies:

"Jeg ville gjort kongehuset mer pratsomt, shoppet og kjøpt meg et privatfly. Og gitt alle i klassen en kabriolet!"

("I would have made the royal house more talkative, do shopping and bought myself a private plane. And I would have given everyone in my class a cabriolet!")"

A Cabriolet! Cool. Nice small car. 12 years old. Oops.

Cabriolet's were quite popular cars for students at my high school...for some reason I never really got into them...are they popular in Norway?

The hospital that Mette-Marit was admitted to was the same one where Haakon, Martha-Louise and Maud Angelica were born at.

The hospital pictures reveal a rather nice looking hospital compared to most of the ones in Colorado...there are a few nicer ones (such as that in the photo), but got the most part they are stark, bare walled, boring, buildings...inside and out.

[COLOR=purple]Okay so maybe I won't be making it all the way until the baby decides to make it's apperance! Darn early morning flights that end up delayed half the day so you are awake longer then you ever wanted to be!

I'm going to bed, and will just have to log on first thing in the morning and get the latest....

My prayers and thoughts are with Mette-Merit, Hakkon, Maurius, and the rest of the Norwegian Royal Family in their time of anticipation and joy!

Fabulous research work Dennis!!!

I'm sure Hakkon and Mette-Merit will be most excited that their baby will share (maybe) their birthday with Emma Bunton, the Spice Girl!!! I know that's the one I would be most excited about!!! :P :P :P

You go to sleep and can sleep late and this happens. Honestly. And as I've got a dentist appointment in an hour, and a two-hour lecture after that... I can't follow this like I did when the Dutch princess was born. Sucks to be me.

But at least I'll have a new prince or princess to talk about in the coming years.

Good luck to Mette-Marit, and everybody here on board have fun.

Dentist, yesh. If only I'd known... but then I'd be at school now instead, without the news.

Too bad. A trip to the dentist. That stinks.

Here's a photo I saw recently. I'm sure everybody has seen it except for me:

From Kongehuset.no about how they will announce the birth.

Quote:

*
The press will have it's own room in the National Hospital's main lobby. There will be given no information from the Palace during the birth.

As quick as possible after the baby's born, the nearest family, and the president of the Storting will be told that an heir to the crown is born. After that the Prime Minister, the high court justice, the Bishop in Oslo, the Defence and Royals in Europe.

When the President of the Storting has been notified, an official announcement will come from the Royal Palace at the Royal family's webpage www.kongehuset.no

NRK.no claim they have reports every half hour from the hospital, in case anyone's interested.

There are so many future Queen's born in the last few years, I think this will be a boy. (odds are) We'll see soon. Do the C.P couple know the sex of their baby?

And since Mette-Marit has been admitted to the hospital, the longest waiting time is over. Now we've just got to wait for news.

If they do, they haven't said anything. I tried the videos on NRK.no but you had to register and every time I did that, the window was blank. Odd.
