Prince Haakon came to Finland yesterday, he was invited by professor Pekka Himanen. They work together at the Global Dignity -project. Global Dignity has some very high profile supporters, e.g. the former president of Finland, Mr. Martti Ahtisaari, boxing legend Muhammad Ali and actor Michael Douglas.
Professor Himanen says that the prince is very deeply acquainted with the themes of the project.

An article of Crown prince Haakon´s visit in Finland:
Prinssi Haakon piipahti Suomessa/IltaSanomat

The article tells that the students at the Viik Normal School had a different school day yesterday, when Crown prince Haakon visited the school. There were black cars, a couple of police cars and security men at the school yard.

Haakon was at a private visit to Finland. He met the President of Finland, Tarja Halonen, at yesterday afternoon, but that visit was also private.
Haakon had an easy protocol: he didn´t have a tie and he smiled a lot.

Haakon spoke to the students about development aid, which is very important to him.
