This is a pretty long visit, about two weeks. Pretty sure going to see beautiful scenery as well as history.

Yes, as far as I know it's the first time he'll visit Mongolia.

What's strange is that the Norwegian and the English calendar have two different dates for the Visit.
The English calendar says:
Quote:
His Royal Highness The Crown Prince visits Mongolia as a special representative of the UNDP 2 - 11 November.
The Norwegian says:
Quote:
H.K.H. Kronprinsen besøker Mongolia som spesialutsending for UNDP 2. - 6. november.

Hopefully he will get to see the entire country. Four days isn't very long, but I'm sure that he will make good use of his time.

Official entry of the CP couple's site:

kongehuset.no - Kronprinsen til Mongolia med UNDP

Quote:
H.K.H. Kronprins Haakon besøker Mongolia 3.-6. november som good-will ambassadør for UNDP.
So, it will be a 3 days Visit. I wonder where all the confusion about the period of the visit occured.

Thank you, Sofajr! Haakon seems like a very warm and caring person, and the photos from this trip have been lovely.
