The Norwegian papers has had a competition to name the person that helps Mette-Marit and there has been many suggestions, first VG said the fashion editor in norwegian Tique Petra Middelthon helps her to put together her wardrobe, then another paper wrote that she was just her childhood friend from Mette-Marits home town, who since she knows alot of designers trough her work has given her some tips but that she was not employed, and has never been photographed with her on official trips, only privatly.

At the moment it seems to be the conclusion that the woman that usually does her hair and makeup for special occations like galas, partys and trips abroad also helps her with her wardrobe and that she travels with her on official visits and to the weddings in Denmark and Spain, there are pictures of her at several occations. Vg (paper edition) writes today that Märtha in the same way gets some tips and pointers from the man that usually does her makeup and hair for special occation, (during Leahs batism he did the hair for several of the royal women including Laurentien according to VG), also that they often do their hair and make up them self before going out for day to day engagements so they dont have full time stylists

Haakon today at the event that was originally schedueled for Mette-Marit, he was present for a conferenc for police and people that is employed in the child protection sector in Drammen

Kongehuset has schedueled an event for Mette-Marit on monday, even if she could not go today or go to Sweden, she will visit a red cross resource center in capacity of her new role as "door opener" for the red cross.

Haakons engagements seems to go by unnoticed by the press but here is one from yesterday, Haakon opening an exhibiton about the Romani people (gypsys/tatere), the handelling of the Romani people is not Norways brightest chapeters ane one of the goal with the exhibition is to avoid further racism and discrimination.

From
http://www.coe.int/T/e/human_rights/ecri/5-Archives/1-ECRI's_work/5-CBC_Second_reports/Norway_CBC_2.asp
Quote:
The Romani people/ Travellers in Norway were in the past subject to assimilation policies and systematic serious human rights violations such as forced sterilisations of women. Since 1992 a group of researchers has been investigating such issues and the Minister of Local Government and Regional Development has apologised on behalf of the Norwegian authorities for the abuses to which the Romani people/Travellers have been subjected

Quote:
ANSA - Association of Norwegian Students Abroad - is a non-profit and independent organisation devoted to speak the interests of Norwegian students who study abroad. Our aim is to maintain and promote the educational, cultural, political and economic interests of our members
Throughout its history, ANSA has fought to improve on and change the countless rules and regulations governing student grants and loans. During this time, ANSA has won a significant number of victories. ANSA believes that all students should have the automatic right to study any subject in any country they wish.
