You do Iceland a bit of a disfavour ... it is warmed - as is Europe - by the Gulf Stream.

I would imagine its like Iqualit, Nunavat (Canada) ... I was there around this time of the year a number of years ago, and it was very nice. Running around in shirt-sleeves, and getting sunburnt.

The trouble, I suppose, is that you like to 'sweat' in balmy humid conditions year around and think that to be normal? :flower:
I certainly don't want to do anyone a disfavor, but it does look pretty cold there to me. After all, the ladies are all wearing gloves and scarves. I spent the day in shorts, flip-flops and a tank top. I think that anywhere in Canada would be a bit to cold for me. I was in California last summer - San Diego mind you, and could be seen wearing a sweatshirt every single morning and night - even though it did warm up during the day. I would go nowhere near the water! Brr, it was freezing!

I don't think that I like to sweat, who does? But I suppose that I am quite used to my hot humid weather, and so just about anything looks cold to me!

Oh, and King Christian, I can solve your question about Banana Creme pie and Boston Creme pie. Neither. Go for the Key Lime Pie. Much tastier! :P

I really like her hair with some curls. Pretty.

I don't know if anybody hs referenced this link. Very nice pictures, and in my experience, they - the pictures - stay around longer than some picture providers we know.

I dunno... He's not in my top five princes but he reminds me so much of my best friend's husband that I can't help but like him.

To be fair, I posted all the photos of Mette-Marit that were available. Can't blame me if the photographer liked him more

These pictures are wonderful Lyonnaise. I have seeen some other pictures of Mette-Marit during her and Haakon's visit to Iceland and I am absolutely digging her curly/wavy locks. They suit her very well and are a very nice and refreshing change from her usual straight hair. She seems so happy on this trip, more radiant. Marriage and family life must be treating her very well!

I like her shoes here too ... smashing. :)

This girl -- MM -- has re-found her panache .... that she had when Haakon fell for her.

It is a pity, only this link opened with me from aftenposten.no but the other links from gettyimages.com didn't work with me and they form the majority of this thread. I hope it is only me who had this problem.

The getty-pictures don't come up the first time, but if you hit refresh they all should work!
