Mette-Marit will have tomorrow an engagement (Visits the Church City Mission), and I found an old article with picture about her visit from 2009:

Which particular field (s) of social work does the Church City Mission work concentrate on?

They have an internetside, and there can you choose "Fields": for example "Children and young people" or "Poverty" or "Mental Health", etc. There can you read more about their work. :flowers:

See, that's one of the reasons I love Mette-Marit, regardless of all controversies and criticism. She is the real deal. :)

Oh,thank you very much.Of course I could have also engaged google,but I thought people here are so knowledgeable that they can tell me as well and also faster than me,looking up the charity organisation online:)
Well,or maybe I was just a little bit lazy:D
Anyway,I think they are doing great work and I am looking forward to seeing CP Mette-Marit working for them and giving them support!
I also like the little anecdote about her buying that magazine from a poor person & giving a free hug,
she has such a warm & caring personality:flowers:

She looks and sounds great in the video,only sad thing is that I don´t understand her language,but she has a pretty speaking voice.
 
nice to see her out and about , her duties have been very light this year so far !
hopefully it will start getting busy :) selfish on my part , just want to see more of her lol :)

Hey, I think the same about my favourite royals:D
I want then to do lots of work,interviews and photoshoots that I can see them very often...! We are so selfish:lol:
I think lots of Mette-Marit´s work is also behind curtains and not publicised-which is a good thing IMO as we have a saying in Austria: Do good deeds and don´t talk about it!
But a little bit of pictures,news,interviews etc is good-also because ppl want to see what they are doing and by showing pics,sending out press releases etc. the public knows what they are doing and that they are not sitting at home getting massaged by their wellness specialist or painting their nails...
The general public/taxpayer wants to be sure that the royals are working for their country!

I found an other forum where people can talk about royals, but there the people speak so ugly about Mette-Marit that I am surprised why they spend time with following, speaking and thinking about her, if they hate her so very much... :whistling: They think that she is very lazy (and they have also many-many other problems with her), but I also think what you wrote, and I found this article, what mentioned that the royals (the norwegian) do the most work in the palace and the king works therefor so very much, that the CP-couple can spend the most time with her kids.

I'm afraid that the most event won't be photographed for the public, so we won't see her more... :sad: I think she made such work also earlier, only the royalhouse didn't mentioned it. But now, that the CPs had again discussion about her role, work and person, so maybe the royalhouse changed the strategy and show/write on the webside what she makes in her working days.
