MM was scheduled to attend but will not go:
The Crown Princess was originally scheduled for a trip to Brazil in the period 16 -19. november, but has to cancel her trip due to illness. The Crown Princess is under investigation and treatment for recurrent respiratory infections. Doctor's advice is that she should not travel on an official visit to Brazil, says communications manager at the Norwegian royal house, Marianne Hagen to TV2.

I am surprised they announce it that early, its still 3 weeks to go. Maybe it only appears that way, but MM is always fit and healthy when it is about her many vacations or private activities.

Its a bit like her fear of flying isn't it, only a problem for official activities but not luxury holidays or shopping trips...

Its a bit of an embarrassment to have a future Queen who dislikes having to do work so much...

I don't want to be rude but if the Royal Court are just making excuses they need to find better ones than stating they know she will be too sick in three weeks ...
