Very much looking forward to see them with the King and Queen, which will undoubtedly be the case (at least meeting Charles)!

Its not often to see details of a royal visit to the BRF published, most are treated as private visits. I have no doubt W&C have gitten to know Hakon & Mette-Marit well over the years.
I think they only met once a few years ago on the Cambridge tour through Sweden and Norway

Haakon and Mette-Marit official visit to Germany; November 6-9, 2023

The Crown Prince couple visit Germany
Their Royal Highnesses the Crown Prince and Crown Princess are traveling on an official visit to Germany in the period 6 to 9 November 2023. The visit to Munich, Hamburg and Berlin will help to strengthen the close and good relations and close business cooperation between Norway and Germany.

From the government follows Business Minister Jan Christian Vestre, Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt, Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram and Oil and Energy Minister Terje Aasland. A Norwegian business delegation also takes part in the trip. During the visit, the Crown Prince couple will meet Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz, as well as other federal and state authorities.

Germany is Norway's most important partner in Europe. The collaboration is close and extensive in a number of areas. Germany is one of our largest trading partners, an increasingly important ally and a like-minded partner in promoting democracy, the rule of law and human rights.

The Crown Prince will visit Munich and Hamburg in the period 6 to 8 November. The program in Munich includes, among other things, Norwegian-German defense materiel and industrial cooperation and the promotion of Norwegian literature. In Hamburg, the main theme will be energy transition and green industrial development with a focus on hydrogen and CCS, as well as the green maritime sector. The visit ends in Berlin on 9 November, where the Crown Princess will also participate in a commemoration of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

The program is being prepared, and further information about the program and participation will be announced later.

I honestly find it strange that they anounce a trip for her in the start of November, even if her program is very reduced, when she is now on sick leave and they have said it could be extended. She has had to cancel so many events in 2023. Would have been better to add her name closer to date so that they would not have cancel again.

The event she is going to attebc (commemoration of the fall of the Berlin wall) is such that they apparently want to make clear that the intention is for the crown princess to be present as well. If in the end, she is not able to at least it is clear that she had hoped to join.
