Queen Mathilde visited the Kazerne Dossin, the Memorial, Museum and Documentation Centre on the Holocaust and Human Rights, in Mechelen today, March 27. The visit is part of the commemoration of the deportation of 25,274 Jews and 352 Gypsies from the Dossin barracks to Auschwitz-Birkenau between 1942 and 1944. She also visited the temporary exhibition Neighbours 2018 about the closed world of the Hasidic Jews of Antwerp.
