Catherine, Thank you for posting more beautiful photos of Mathilde's family home. My guess is they have alot of privacy in that setting. I know the press in Belgium is not allowed to follow the royals as closely as in other countries - but do you have any idea how often Mathilde sees her family?

They see each other very often. They often visit them in the weekends, and the d'Udekem d'Acoz family also has a place in Brussels.

Mathilde 's sister, countess Elisabeth d'Udekem d'Acoz (29) (godmother of Emmanuel) is engaged to an Italian marquis: Alfonso, Marchese Pallavicini (41), an Italian noble.
Alfonso was born on July 5th, 1964 as the first son and first child of the late Marchese Carlo Alessandro (°1923-+2004) and Avagora, née Contessa degli Azzoni Avagadro (°1926-). His has one brother, Marchese Edoardo (°1965-). His uncle, Marchese Federico married in 1961 Duchess Helene of Württemberg, elder sister of the actual Head of the Royal House of Württemberg, Duke Carl. So a very good match I would say! Alfonso now works since 1992 the BNP Paribas bank, where he is head of coverage and Territories Europe. He studied in Vienna and Venice. Here's the only photo we can locate for now: |
