Elisabeth was the qeeun of Belgium and than its normal that the first child named like that queen and I find Emmanuel a beaufull name, in ower country Belgium is it normal Manuel I think that Mathilde her son names Manuel in private w She names Elisabeth in private Lisa I have it seen on television on a documentaire! I hope that you unterstand my englisch!

Just wanna ask something,since he is a male, what would be the new born prince's number in line of succession??..Is he the second-in-line?..or is it his sister Princess Elisabeth the heiress of the Belgian throne after their father?

Did Astrid visit her aswell?When Laetitia was born did Mathilde also visit her?
That is the thing I like about the Belgium royal family.Tey ARE a family and show their love and affection. I remember that they did the same when Claire gave birth:)

Does anyone know when Mathilde went into the hospital? I ask because Philippe looks a bit worn around the edges/tired in some of the pictures, though happy.
