Whatever the main reason may have been, your observation is also a convincing
one, martha-louise, I've noticed that with many people who wear glasses.

Here's another nice gallery from yesterday's visits to the farms:

** Mathilde de Belgique se fait son propre salon de l'agriculture, toute seule ! **

And here are pics from today!

Princess Mathilde today attended the 100th birthday of the 'International Woman's Day',
Wednesday 02 March 2011, in Brussels. International Woman's Day is a major day of
global celebration of women. For the 100th birthday, they pay tribute to 100 special

Amazing, someone obviously uploaded the whole content of his/her digital
camera...Thank you, stephanievl!

Today, March 3rd, Crown Princess Mathilde visited the 'Zeepreventorium' prior to
a round table about 'Obesity of young people' in De Haan. The 'Zeepreventorium'
is a rehabilitation center for chronically ill children and youngsters.

Thanks for the updates!
Crown Princely couple appears to have a very busy agenda. It is always a pleasure to see Crown Princess Mathilde undertaking official engagements.

I have a question howcome the Belgian RF never invited the head of the royal house of Prussia or Russia during the wedding of the Crown Prince? I mean look at the Danish & Spanish RF they invited almost every royal reigning and non reigning houses. Why couldn't they do what their Danish & Spanish counterparts did, to invite royals from both reigning and non reigning houses?

Princess Mathilde attended Network of Enterprising Women MARKANT annual Award Ceremony at KBC Bank Building in Brussels. March 16, 2011

BelgaPicture - Category details

Mathilde is quite involved in supporting initiatives who help women owned businesses.:)

Thanks to posters who posted pic and clips of Mathilde in Harvard. Do I understand correctly that she'll stay 10 days for a leadership course? That's long. Does it mean she will participate in that course?

Who is María Tarruella Oriol, who seems to be in the pictures too? A relative of Queen Fabiola?

Thanks for the photos!:flowers:
Crown Princely family appeared to enjoy their Easter holidays. Spain is quite an interesting location to choose.

Aren't they going here more often? I remember pictures of previous years of the couple watching something religious ( easter procession?) on a small balcony Spain. I believe it was in 2006?

You might be right. I can not find any information or photos though.

Time flies. :flowers: I found a bigger picture from 2006. Back then Konstatin of Bulgaria and his wife joined them too.

They really seem to enjoy this place and the hospitality of the Oriol family.
