Today, December 4, Princess Mathilde and outgoing Defence Minister Pieter De
Crem (CD&V Flemish christian democrats) made a visit during the day of the
defence in Peutie. They met relatives of the soldiers who take part in the
peacekeeping operations.

Is the Princess Mathilde Fund ceremony being held this year?
 
The court announced that princess Mathilde has a bad flue, she had to cancel several activities that where shedueled yesterday. It is not jet sure she will be able to go to Luxor (Egypt) this weekend and attend the christmas concert next week.

From December 10 till 12 an international forum entitled "End Human Trafficking
Now: Enforcing the UN Protocol" takes place in Luxor, Egypt. There will also
be an award ceremony for the winner of the "Business Leader's Award to Fight
Human Trafficking", Princess Mathilde is part of the jury and was expected to
hold a speech during the opening ceremony of the forum, but due to the flue
that is unsure now..
 
I wish Crown Princess Mathilde a speedy recovery.

A friend of my posted a message on facebook telling 'with princess Mathilde on the plane to Egypt'.
 
Have you have got a friend working for the Crown Princely couple? Has Crown Princess Mathilde taken a commercial flight to Egypt?
In any case, it is great to know that she feels well enough to travel. I am looking forward to seeing photos from the event.

No he is going on holiday in Egypt, so yes, she took a normal comercial flight!

Impressing that she travels to Egypt although she's been ill so short ago!
That's a real sense of duty. No one would have criticised her for a reasonable
recovery phase, so that's really nice..
 
I'm guessing that Philippe has the lovely job of looking after the 4 kids??
 
It's rather likely that he'll be helped by some nannies.

It is nice to see Crown Princess Mathilde attending the Forum. I hope warm weather has a beneficial effect on her health.
