Princess Mathilde , prince Philippe and their children are my favourites in the BRF.
I was horrified as well to read about those baby stabbings! What a monster, to do a thing like that. Immagine how those poor parents felt and I can also immagine that being parents themselves, the royal couple must have grieved as well.

Was the Indonesian vice-president given an award, or an order? He is wearing a medallion around his neck.

I love seeing her interact with the patients. I had no idea that her degree was in Speech Therapy. She is such a natural with people, both young and old.

I love this photo:

She is truly a caring and compassionate princess. You can see it her body language. The Belgians are very lucky to have such an amazing woman in their royal family.

Thank you for the link, Iceflower!

This is older news, but I haven't seen anything about it in the forums. Mathilde was named 'Most Elegant' by Belgian Elle magazine during their style awards on February 6, 2009.

I think she deserves it. She's very elegant.

I am glad to learn that Crown Princess Mathilde's exquisite taste in fashion, has been acknowledged. The black ensemble was perfectly chosen and pulled off.

I thought it was Louvain la neuve, the French counterpart.

Nono, she went to a symposium in Leuven, but she studied in Louvain-La-Neuve.
Don't worry, it's confusing.
