Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde will be on an economic mission to Russia from April 03 until april 08.

This is not the first economic mission to Russia. They went before in 2006.

It would be very interesting to see the visit agenda and be safe to assume that Crown Prince Phillipe might check whether or not programmes established during the first visit make any progress and possibly address issues that impede this progress.

This article offers some details of the agenda. On April 5 there will be a meeting with
President Dmitry Medvedev and on April 6 they will travel to St. Petersburg.

It is great that Crown Prince Phillipe together President Medvedev will visit St.Petersburg. This means that this economic mission may yield tangible results benefiting both sides.

It would be fair to assume that the Crown Princely couple enjoys the cultural part of this economic mission. The Novodevichy Nunnery is a beautiful piece of architecture. On a different note, Crown Princess Mathilde's outfit bears some semblance to those worn by Russian boyarinas.
