You cannot just take pain relieving medicine for a trapped nerve.
It either needs to be dealt with surgically, physical therapy and Corticoids treatment.

Thus, I concluded that the medical condition "trapped nerve" was not crippling and a pain-relieving pills could have addressed the issue.
A trapped nerve is not a grave medical condition, but it is very very painful. Its not the sort of thing that popping a few pills solves immediately. Anyways, if you are interested, suggest you google the condition to find out more.

Guido, I've read that their stay in Poland is planned for three
days, that would mean that they'll be in Hungary on Thursday.

A little correction, I've guessed Thursday, but they've continued
their journey to Hungary today and arrived at Ferihegy International
Airport in Budapest in the afternoon.

I have literally just been diagnosed with a trapped nerve in my arm and no pain killers are doing anything. The pain is debilitating and affecting my daily life. The doctor is sending me for further tests before deciding what action to take and has told me to expect to have this pain for the next couple of months while the tests are done e.g. the ultra sound to pinpoint where the problem is can't be done for another 5 weeks (that is the earliest I can get an appointment) and then the next time I can get an appointment with this doctor is another month after that. I have already had to wait nearly 6 weeks to see him so I do have the upmost sympathy for Camilla. If her backpain is anything like my arm pain is would be extremely difficult to travel.

You do realise that she did carry out engagements in Warsaw and didn't just spend the day in her rooms. The consequences of her pain were that more people saw a member of the BRF as some saw Charles and others saw Camilla whereas had she been fit to travel those in Warsaw would have missed out.

camilla's not very smart looking on this trip. She looks like a bag lady with that horrible brown scarf on her head. The Queen is much older and is always perfect looking in public.

I can hardly believe it. Duchess of Cornwall. That ditty dotty spotty thing again?

I quite liked the scarf, and that she wrapped it around her head. But Oh how I loathe that polka dot explosion. I adored the first 100 times but now I just want to shred it. I do wish she would wear a hat and a brooch more often. It would complete the look and make it more classy and memorable.

The nonsense comparison between the DOC and Crown Princess Masako of Japan (!) and responses to those comments have been removed.
Let's keep some perspective - and sense of reality - please.

Without doubt one of her favourite outfits during the last two or
even three months.. :)

First pics from March 19, day 3 in Hungary:

Charles and Camilla watched a wreath being laid at the memorial
to the 1956 uprising outside the Parliament Building in Budapest
and visited the Parliament itself. Camilla also visited Budapest
Children's Hospital.

The purple suit has emerged as a favourite as well. Do we think that the DoC should wear hats more often when abroad, especially at formal daytime occassions?

Lovely colour but not a fan of the jacket cut. Something a little more fitted at the waist would suit HRH much better.

Yesterday, in the evening, prince and duchess were invited on banquet in Prague castle. There were about 80 guests - politics, war veterans, expresident... Charles mentioned his interest in Prague and he said taht he was happy that he can show czech beauties to his wife. With czech president Vaclav Klaus he spoke also about ecology - as you probably know czech president´s opinion on global warming is in opposite of Charles opinion. Charles also show his typical british humor, when he congratulated czech sportmen on 6 medals from Olympic games, he said that he admire their success, when there was not a lot of snow...
Today is private programme. In the morning there is a mess in evangelian church and in the evenind the opera. In the meantime they will probably visit historic centre..but who knows:)
... and for dinner they had typical czech cuisine including typical czech beer and czech vine...

Ducil,
Thank you for the video links and pictures. Still pictures are nice, but are not usually in sequential order. :flowers:

The dots, the dots! Again! Good Lord woman, have you even had time to wash it in between wears?! No comment on the cape or the hat... sigh... you do disappoint me Camilla...

The hat looks like it was found in the rubbish, she looks a bit like an unmade bed. No style at all.

I'm struck by the somewhat bewildered and listless attitude of the Duchess throughout this East European tour, which is very apparent if you go through the photo agencies' galleries.
There is very little interaction between her and her husband, and she frequently looks rather lost and out of place so you could almost feel sorry for her. She did much better, appearing to be more engaged, involved and lively, on former foreign tours in the years after the wedding.
Appearance-wise, besides the one suit in deep purple which fortunately featured some sharper tailoring, her complete wardrobe for the East European tour has been a resounding, unmitigated disaster... ranging from unintentionally funny to unbelievably frumpy.
Altogether, she leaves a strange and unfortunate impression.

The scarf which Duchess' Camilla holds in hand is beautiful and seems to be of a wonderful quality.

Well i presume her painful back problem didn't help to obtain a beaming Duchess...

I don't agree...

Well It's a question of point of view ... I saw some pictures showing, as usual, a very at ease Duchess

Ouch that's harsh. All is a matter of taste of course ... The DOC is not a fashion horse ( and i think she doesn't pretend to be one). The wardrobe ( with many outfits already seen before) was appropriate as usual.

And imho her gala appearance was particullary good :
