Does anybody know when Tom Parker Bowles is getting married? I thought it was this fall.

(Hope the girl doesn't wear something similar to that bustled mini-skirt!)

When I saw that girl in that outfit, I had an apoplectic fit!!  How could/dare she appear before Her Majesty dressed like that??? It was downright tasteless and declasse (trans: TACKY).

Maybe William will one up her at her wedding by wearing his famous loincloth costume!!!!!:p :p

No, how about William & Harry in kilts. (dreaming) Only when they were children have I seen them in kilts.

I think I read that William said, when he was at St. Andrews, that he didn't feel comfortable wearing a kilt (and thought he looked silly in it). I don't think I've ever seen Harry in one, since he was little!

It's pretty noticeable during the Balmoral photo call.

I read that Will said that he has worn a kilt in private. And he said that he isn't going to say that he never will wear one in public. I think that he was just saying that one day he may wear one in public but probably not for a while.

What's frightening is that she is a fashion editor, she looks awful! :ROFLMAO:

She's a fashion editor? Thanks for a good laugh, Skydragon. It definitely proves that one does not need to be fashionable to work in the fashion business. ;)

I think it´s not the first time that Sarah Parker Bowles shows her ´special´ fashion style... maybe her husband likes it...?
I read too, that she´s a fashion editor, but where is she working, for a company, for a magazine, etc...?
Maybe someone can tell me?:flowers:

She's actually known by her own name of Sara Buys and she's the fashion editor for Harpers Bazaar. When I first read Sarah Parker Bowles, I thought, a neice of Camilla's?!

Thank you Charlotte1:flowers: !
Sarah´s fashion style is awful...okay, but i read Camilla likes her very much because she thinks Sarah is good for Tom and brings stability in his life. So maybe she a nice guy.

Tom: My stepfather speaks absolute sense

Like his stepfather Prince Charles, Tom Parker-Bowles has very strong opinions about food, and passionately believes in decent farming conditions.
"I think he speaks absolute sense," Tom says. "But he's been saying it for years.
"The three big scares to hit British farming in the past 10 to 15 years - BSE, foot and mouth disease and bird flu - have made us look at where our food comes from more closely....

Royally connected foodie visits NZ

British author and passionate foodie Tom Parker Bowles, son of Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall and stepson of the Prince of Wales, flew into New Zealand yesterday to promote his book and to take part in Savour New Zealand this weekend.
Parker Bowles, 32, on his second visit to New Zealand, said he was excited about the prospect of sampling the country's local produce and learning from other "foodies". Parker Bowles, a food writer for over five years, said his passion for local produce and good quality ingredients were not just a food trend.

Parker Bowles wants to eat dangerously

Tom Parker Bowles, stepson of Prince Charles, the heir to the British throne, proves in a new book he has developed a palate for peasant food.
Bowles, 32, has forged a career as a freelance food writer contributing regular columns to the upmarket Tatler magazine and the tabloid Daily Mail on Sunday for the past seven years.

I am presently reading a book called 'Right Royal Bastards' (sorry I didnt make up the title) with a photo of Sonia Keppel in which she is a dead ringer forCamilla. Sorry, but I'm a techno idiot and dont know how to post photos. if anyone else has a copy I am refering to the Cecil Beaton portrait in the National Gallery. The book also alleges that Sonia was the illegitmate daughter of King Edward VII making Charles andCamilla half third cousins once removed. Interestingly, this book which was written after C and C's marriage, has a forward writtten by HRH the Duke of Gloucester. I dont think he would have written the forward if it was inacurate regarding a living member of the RF. What do you guys think?

There is a great possibility that Sonia was the illegmate of King Edward VII and Alice Keppel. Christopher Wilson (the pioneer author about Camilla )believes that. But the opinions divide. "king in love" agree with this opinion. But "Mrs Keppel and her daughter" stated that Sonia was the daughter of George Keppel and Alice Keppel. But Sonia did name her memorier as "The Edwardian Daughter." I believe that the truth was only known by Camilla's own family or Sonia did not say anything when she was alive.

Very interesting. The family resemlance in the photograph in the book is remarkable. If you photo shopped Camilla's hair onto Sonia you would swear you were looking at a photo of Camilla. They are about the same age too.

I´ve never seen Sara in a nice look. For a "fashionata" she has a bad taste IMO:sick: These high-heels are a bit dangerous...
Although Laura hasn´t shown us her best dresses of recent times, that´s true, sesa.

She really looks exhausted. If she thinks she is tired now, wait until after the baby arrives!

There is an article on Tom Parker Bowles in the current People magazine. The article is two pages long; surprisingly, the one on the Diana memorial service was only one page.

The TPB article relates to his book "The Year of Eating Dangerously", which has just been published in the U.S. (I saw a copy at Barnes & Noble today.) The article also talks about the PB family, and includes Camilla's roast chicken recipe.

He's a very interesting guy, that Tom PB. I like this part a lot:
Parker Bowles is tall and fair, like his mother, though he also resembles his father, Andrew, the Queen’s former Silver Stick-in-Waiting. (Parker Bowles admitted that he isn’t sure exactly what a Silver Stick-in-Waiting does, but said it has something to do with assisting the Gold Stick-in-Waiting.) (SOURCE) It seems like Tom has the wise sum up for everything. :D

Has Sara had the baby yet? I haven't heard any news about, do they know the sex of the child?

Sara is expected to give birth any time now (judging by the fact Sara and Tom didn't accompany Camilla on the trip to Greece, she is on the last stage of the pregnancy).
There is no word about the gender of the baby - Tom and Sara are private people and even if they do know the sex of the baby, they don't have to share it with anyone.

tom is on good morning america right now 8:30am talking about his book (eating dangerously). He's very funny, charming and feeding diane sawyer all this really gross food. baby is still a few weeks away (hopefully) because he's in new york (his wife was a little upset about this trip) going home tomorrow. his moms recipe for chicken is in the book, she enjoys cooking and they have big family dinners. he says he's happy his moms happy and he gets along well with the princes- his quote "we're not the brady bunch but we get along famously" something like that. funny guy enjoyed him in the segment.
