Apparently Harry was ten minutes late to the match because his grandmother drove him...and she drove so slowly they ended up late! :p

1.www.ibl.se - A great picture of Harry in action, I think.

2.www.ibl.se - Charles looks exhausted after the game, but Harry looks like he's ready for another one!

3.www.ibl.se - Nice pastel-coloured outfit on the Queen. Sort of reminds me of Easter.

Paltrow to Perform for Britain's Prince Charles
Thu Aug 28,10:59 AM ET

LONDON (Reuters) - Oscar-winner Gwyneth Paltrow (news) and British actor Joseph Fiennes (news) will recreate the famous Romeo and Juliet balcony scene for Prince Charles at a charity show, organizers said on Thursday.

The co-stars of the 1998 film "Shakespeare in Love" will play the star-crossed lovers for the heir to the throne at an open-air London theater next Monday.

Paltrow won an Oscar for her role as wealthy beauty Viola de Lesseps who steals the heart of Shakespeare, played by Fiennes, and helps him overcome writer's block.

Among other actors performing selected Shakespeare scenes will be Paul Scofield, Diana Rigg (news) and Jane Lapotaire.

Guests will pay between 20 pounds ($31.36) and 300 pounds to attend the event at Shakespeare's Globe, a replica Elizabethan theater on the south bank of the River Thames.

Money raised will go to the Prince's Trust, a charity set up by Prince Charles to help disadvantaged young people.

I really like Camilla's outfit. It's fitting for someone her age - i.e. does not bear all her goodies for the world to see! :p - is suitable for an evening of theatre and is absolutely simple and elegant.

ravenprincess, you are so right! I never noticed it before. Maybe if there is ever a movie made about Mette-Marit's life Gwyneth can play the part? And the fact that the two women have met before means that Gwyneth knows a bit of Mette-Marit's mannerisms!

Camilla's Lacy number makes a Second round!

3 SEPTEMBER 2003
Taking a page from the book of royals such as Princess Anne, who has no qualms about being seen in the same outfit twice, Camilla Parker Bowles has shown she can get plenty of mileage from a single gown.

Prince Charles' companion wore a stunning cream-coloured lace dress as she stepped out for the Prince's Trust star-studded Shakespeare charity gala at the Globe Theatre in London this week.

And though some may have thought it was a case of déjà vu, fashionistas with a keen eye knew they'd seen the outfit more than once in the past.

The 56-year-old has sported the gown - along with its matching coat and handbag - on at least five occasions in the past three years, including her recent appearance alongside the Prince of Wales at the Salzburg Festival in Austria. The dress had made its debut at a London birthday party in 2000.

It remains to be seen if the Shakespeare fest was the end of the road for the lacy garment, or if eagle-eyed royal watchers will spot the dress a sixth time round.

Hi!

Thanks for the great pics Alexandria! I know it must take a lot of time and trouble to get them all and put them up..

I wondered about Donatella too! She looks almost 'out of it' (can't help wondering if she perhaps has a drug or alcohol problem)..

Charles looks very happy with Camilla...I hope they remain together. If they marry, I don't think many would be happy with the idea of Princess Camilla..however, Camilla cannot become queen because of the late Princess Diana being Charles' first wife. I heard that somewhere. Merm...she seems to be more public with her relationship with Charlie Windsor. I hope they remain happy o_O

this is a bit offtopic...but.....

does anyone else think Donatella Versace looks like a muppet?

she's really anti-adevertising for her clothes , most fashion designers look very good/have style

From the BBC -

Prince to host urban music event

50 Cent is among the artists being approached

Prince Charles is to host Britain's biggest urban music festival in London.
50 Cent, Justin Timberlake, Ms Dynamite and Big Brovaz are among the stars approached to take part in the event.

The Prince's Trust Music Festival, to be staged at Earls Court on 8 and 9 May, is expected to attract up to 40,000 fans.

The event, to be covered by BBC Radio 1 and sister station 1 Xtra, will also feature break-dance contests and lessons in graffiti writing.

A spokeswoman for the trust said: "There is currently nothing like this on the music calendar, and the market-place is clamouring for a large-scale, credible urban event to celebrate the steady rise of this music genre.

"We are in discussion with some major international stars and it will be fantastic line-up."

The Prince's Trust also stages the annual Party In The Park pop concert and recently held the Fashion Rocks event at the Royal Albert Hall.

I was watching TV and they were talking about Prince Charles and The Princes Trust. They said that Prince Charles said that maybe years after his death people will realize what he did, they said exact quotes but I can't remember them....He doesn't think he is getting enought credit. He seemed really bitter about it.

I understand that he wants people to recognise his hard work, but doesn't that seem a little selfish? I think that is what makes many people not like him, he wants admiration for everything he does. I know The Princes Trust is a great charity, but it seems that he would want attention on the charity and not himself.

He wants people to change his image in their minds: he is not a playboy but he is hard working and does his duties. After all his life about is just to wait the death of his mother and succeed the throne. The 1994 Dimblebly TV interview also have a purpose to show his responsiblity and devotion to his public duty but the confession of his adultery overshadowed that main topic.

The problem is always there. People are more interested in his private life rather than his work.He is very annoyed by that. He wants the recognisition of the public indeed. Since the problem of his relationships with Camilla has been settled, he would have more focus in his work. Camilla is very very low key and nothing may be found about her. royal watchers said that Charles holds a high self-esteem like his mother but he is similar to Diana to analyse the media reaction and the combinations of the two make him in a difficult situation as a result.

I said that awhile back. The Prince's Trust is a huge, highly successful and long-running charitable endeavour. He hasn't gotten credit for it.

she looks great. really lovely! this is a nice outfit though imho dark blue is always a bit dull. its a very safe color and im sure that is why she and so many other royal ladies like it but well nothing risked, nothing gained.

oh well. this outfit has a nice textured jacket and a flouncy skirt which make it more interesting and of course I absolutely adore that necklace. it always hits the right note.
