Pride of Britain: Meet the finalists for the the Prince’s Trust Achiever of the Year - Mirror Online

A great article on the finalists for the Prince's Trust Achiever of the Year award. They all sound very deserving. It's so horrible that they have had to overcome such adversity but what a terrific story. The best to all of them.

The Pride of Britain winner has been announced. I found her story very inspiring. In fact, I think that all the nominees--and every participant in the Prince's Trust--should be congratulated for their wonderful accomplishments.

I saw on the CBC that HRH, as Patron of The National Arts Centre of Canada Orchestra, attended their London Concert tonight. The NACO is on a Tour of UK as part of WWI Remembrance/Centenary Events between our Countries.

Due to the sad events of last week in Ottawa & Quebec, tonight's Concert was dedicated in Honour and to the Memory of Warrant Officer Vincent and Corporal Cirillo. :(

Yes I just watched that same news report. Prince Charles was wearing a Canadian poppy (as he is in the latest pictures above).

I read about this today. It's an amazing gesture by the PoW. I was personally deeply touched; it's been an emotional week for Canadians.

Prince Charles will use Google+ to urge young people to volunteer. I have never used Google+ and neither do my kids. Harry and William used it last year, is it big in the UK and/or Europe?
