When will people learn to accept that this is who Prince Charles is and the kind of future King he will be?

Agree totally. As King, I do think he'll be very careful not to be political and make his views known about governmental matters or take sides on issues in attempts to sway opinions but when it comes down to things like religious intolerance and things that affect all the people whether it be locally, nationally or globally, he will have his voice be heard.

To me, having a King that speaks out on things that matter to all of us is going to be an asset and shows a man of deep character. Charles is definitely his own man and doesn't take things lightly.

The Prince of Wales was in Leicester today, January 25.

He visited Mountsorrel and Rothley Community Heritage Centre and Railway, learned about "the ongoing work between the Army and ethnic minority communities in Leicester and across the UK" at St Philips Church and met young people taking part in personal development programmes at the City of Leicester College:

The Prince of Wales has met a former Afghan child refugee who hitch-hiked across Europe to Britain, as part of Charles's day of engagements in Leicester. Baseer Omarkhil Khan, 16, completed his schooling with the help of the Prince's Trust charity, founded by Charles in 1976 to help youngsters reach their potential. Baseer arrived in the UK aged 11 and unable to speak a word of English. During the visit, pupils crowded into corridors as they tried to get a glimpse of the Prince.

Prince Charles today unveiled a plaque marking the work of volunteers who have restored more than a mile of track at the Victorian Mountsorrel Railway. Cheered by union flag-waving school pupils, Charles also signed a visitor's book in the new Mountsorrel & Rothley Community Heritage Centre. Earlier he drove a steam train along the track, earning praise from onlookers - many of them veteran railwaymen - for not over-shooting the platform.

The Prince of Wales has complained that the public has become overly ‘obsessed’ with Brexit to the detriment of other burning issues including the plight of Christians in the Middle East.

According to a well-placed source, Prince Charles expressed his concerns at a Lambeth Palace reception hosted by the Archbishop of Canterbury the Most Reverend Justin Welby at which he was guest of honour.

The daffodil on his jacket lapel is a nice touch. I wonder if it is from one of the bouquets he was presented with, or if he arrived wearing it (guessing the latter).

I like that his whole face lights up when he smiles, much like his mother. Very genuine!

His commitment to the environment is admirable.
