Is there a reason behind her osteoprosis patronage, I recall there is one patronage that has a reason behind it, is it this one?

Like Princess Mary of Denmark is patron of the heart association in denmark, after her mother passed away after a heart transplant.

CAMILLA, Duchess of Rothesay followed a royal family tradition yesterday when she was named as new patron of the Girls' Brigade in Scotland.

The Queen Mother acted as patron of the youth organisation for many years and the Duchess said she aims to take a "hands on" role in the organisation

Legacies help the RVC hospitals treat and care for all animals. Animals like Humphrey, a dog who was treated in the Queen Mother Hospital (QMH) last year, when he was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis, was visited by Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cornwall at the opening of the QMH.

THE Duchess of Rothesay was treated to an evening of song and dance when she met members of the Girls’ Brigade Aberdeen Division yesterday.

The event was advertised on the GB site a while ago, before it crashed. I am sure Camilla had a wonderful evening.

Shelter Box started as a small project by the Rotary Club of Helston-Lizard, Cornwall, in 2001, but it took off quickly. To date, it has raised ₤15 million and delivered aid in 33 countries. Recently, the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Charles’s wife, Camilla, agreed to serve as president of Shelter Box. She is believed to be the first Royal Patron of a Rotary club project in the United Kingdom.

Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood had the Duchess of Cornwall moving like a ballroom diva when he gave her an impromptu cha cha cha lesson.
The choreographer encouraged Camilla to wiggle her hips and move her feet to a Latin track when the pair visited a London school on World Osteoporosis Day.
The Duchess and the celebrity dance instructor held hands and shimmied in the hall of St Clement Danes primary school which is taking part in a National Osteoporosis Society (NOS) project.

Strictly speaking they were a rather unlikely pair of dance partners.
But there was no stopping the Duchess of Cornwall from taking a twirl with judge Craig Revel Horwood today.
And to the astonishment of many - not least the normally acid-tongued judge himself - Camilla proved rather light on her feet as she executed a decidedly half-decent Cha-cha-cha

I love that there is a video of the Duchess dancing. She does seem like a very warm fun person. I must say they, she either looks smaller on video or has lost some weight.
