That would depend on the value you put on it. A fan of Andy Murray would be prepared to pay more than someone who is not. That's the beauty of an auction, the buyer can decide the worth of the item.

The important thing is that it raised funds for the charity.

Ah thank you! I would have dared to say it is not too much, but I agee that what's really matter is tha money goes to a charity!

The Duchess of Cornwall's Patronages

I look forward to this event every year and I'm never disappointed. The Duchess is engaging with the children, forgetting her back and neck issues even if it means getting on the floor. The little girl, Kiera was precious. Her smile could light up a room. I work with children who have CP and it's very common to see them get exhausted and want to fall asleep. Keeping them up is definitely a talent. I have a young lady who has learned to use her sleep to get out of therapy, though more often than not she's genuinely tired. However, physiotherapy and speech are the two things she forces herself to sleep through. Never a dull moment. I'd love to take part in this little event.

More about the charities that support this event.

Camilla Duchess of Cornwall invites children to decorate Christmas tree

The parents/guardians of the children also get a great day out.

The Duchess even gave me a glass of bubbly – my first drink in I don't know how long!

We also get to see a bit more and some closeups of the three rooms in Clarence House that Camilla uses for this event. (The Morning Room, the Library and the Dining Room.)

The ornaments.

I too look forward to this all year. It's my favorite Royal event. I always have smiles and tears- and this year is no exception. I was not disappointed. One thing- if I didn't know she was a Duchess I would never know. She looks more like the children's Granny. Love that. I have anxiety disorder, but I can say I'd feel right at home. I can also say I know someone who'd be fabulous at this. I mean fit right in.

The annual decorating of the Clarence House tree has always been something that warms my heart. Camilla just has the uncanny knack of connecting with children and animals and this annual event really puts the reason for the season into full swing. Its all about the children and wonder and hope and magic and the innocence of believing.

Just one of the reasons I'm warming more and more to Camilla and think she'll make an excellent Queen Consort (no matter what they call her).

Here's another video -- shorter than the other one, but someone talks about the charity, and we hear Camilla wishing the participants a Happy Christmas.

VIDEO: Duchess of Cornwall hosts annual Christmas party for terminally ill children - Independent.ie

I love it when that one kid shouts "Wow!" when seeing the room. It's poignant, thinking of what these children (and their families) go through due to their illnesses, and seeing them have such a magical experience at Clarence House.

Iceflower,
Thanks for posting the pictures of Camilla at The London International Horse Show.

It was not listed in the CC, although other Royal websites had listed it several weeks ago.

Princess Anne attended on the 16th.

Camilla usually attends an evening performance each year and it was strange that the CC listed Princess Anne's visit but not Camilla's.

When I saw Princess Anne's visit, it made me wonder if Camilla had to cancelled as she and Camilla rarely attend the same events, especially one day apart.
