There is a programme on next week on ITV1 at 9pm, with Trevor MacDonald interviewing Prince Charles. They have followed him for a year, apparently.

Tuesday, 16th May, 9pm on ITV1

Rock stars, Hollywood actors, sporting icons and royalty come together in this one hour documentary, The Prince of Wales: Up Close, which provides a exceptional portrait of HRH at work as the charity he created - The Prince's Trust – celebrates its 30th anniversary.

Isn't it a pity that the headlines don't actually match the article.

All Charles said was that he hopes that William will appreciate more in the future what Charles actually does with the trust.

From statements that William has made in the past about how hard his father works I think William is aware what his father does but he mightn't be all that interested, at the moment, in helping his father do it - leaving that to his father.

More examples of the press twisting comments to make Charles look bad!!

I will not be silenced, says Charles

PRINCE Charles will tomorrow night launch a new hard line image where he warns his critics that he will not be silenced on social issues.

You really wouldn't think all these headlines were about the same interview!
