As to "planned communities", this takes me back to the Sixties and Seventies when cars and pedestrians were to be separated - a fateful decision because pedestrians were mainly young mums with pushchairs who were harassed and robbed in the underpasses designed for pedestrians.

What disturbs me about PC's plans is the lack of consultation with people who have lived in the areas he is trying to change - but is it for the better??

The Prince of Wales has been in Dorset today, November 25, he opened the new Waitrose in Poundbury
and a new Red Cross centre and planted a tree to commemorate The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's
wedding as part of a new avenue of lime and sycamore trees in Dorchester, Dorset.

The Prince of Wales has been forced to adapt his latest plans to expand Poundbury because of sewage effluent as fears grow across the country about river pollution in the coming drought.
