The prince arrived in Évora at 12:30 and was received by the Mayor and the municipal executive.
Charles then visited the EDP project InovGrid, a smart electric grid that's been used in Évora (InovCity), since April 2010. EDP project includes the installation of 31,000 smart meters to allow real time communication between customers and the company.
The royal visit to this World Heritage town also included a walk to Praça do Giraldo and to the Cathedral, where he was received by the vicar-general of the archdiocese.

The picture-text reads Prince Charles and Cmilla Parker-Bowles. Is that technically correct? I mean, she isn't really Mrs. Parker Bowles anymore, isn't she?

She is no longer Mrs PB, but certain members of the press do not realise that.

It is strange to refer her as Camilla Parker Bowles, but I have seen it before in the Spanish and Portuguese press when the Countess of Wessex has been referred to as Sophie Rhys-Jones.

That is because married women in Spain and Portugal do not change their last names when married. Spanish media follows this convention when referring to foreigners therefore Camilla Parker-Bowles, Mary Donaldson, etc.

That I can understand well enough. What I find boorish is that I've seen the DoC referred to as Parker-Bowles in British articles. Totally annoys me to no end.

This afternoon Prince Charles and his wife planted a rose at the Monserrate Park, in Sintra. But when they were ready to leave the place, they realised that the keys were locked inside the car... Charles and Camilla had to leave Sintra in another car.
