Sad but true.:(

However, this is the new millenium, the noughties no less, and yet we dare to try to hold CP Charles to a higher standard than the law, modern morality etc.

I'm confused. I thought he was born to be King, not elected Archbishop (or Pope for that matter). Why do we need to destroy even the glimmer of joy in life? This is not reality TV..... This is life, full bodied and way better than fiction. Every dog has his day, and to all the fleas.... get off his back!:p

I have seen a great change in the Prince of Wales for the better and I know it is because of Camilla, I do not dislike the Duchess I do like her. But I still could not imagine her as Queen of England. She is to be comended for the positive change in the Prince. I do not think she will be totally accepted like the late Princess of Wales Diana.
But yes they seem to be very happy with each other, and that makes everyone happy. I hope that she lets the young prince's be themselves at all times, and be more accepting of their girlfriends. They both have a good sense like their mum and father and they will not rush into anything. They will make sure that whatever relationship they get into will be a lasting one.
We all can be proud of those two young men, Wills and Harry.

That is virtually the same post you put on a previous page, however I would suggest you read the article from the Mail posted in the Kate Middleton thread today, which tells us how wonderfully accepting and supportive of Williams girlfriend she is.
From The Mail article: -
"It also shows how fond Camilla is of her, too. After all, it was Camilla's first year of presenting the Gold Cup but she didn't appear to be remotely put out at being overshadowed by Kate's presence."
The other comments you have made, seem designed to start arguements but, :) :) :)

...but, indeed. You're going to show ladylike restraint and not respond, right?

I actually like Camilla. She is very elegant and kind. besides, Charles and her looks so happy together!:) When I was younger I couldn't understand why Charles choose a woman who was not beatiful and stylish like Lady Di. Lady Diana and him made a good couple when portrayed! I liked to see their photos, especially when she wore those beatiful romantic dresses and had a more innocen face than later...However, when I became older, I understood that life is not only a beatiful pic. I knew that Camilla was Charles love since they were young, and since I'm a great supporter of love, I like Camilla very much.

I never saw Charles so happy in his whole life.

Camilla Parker-Bowles Queen of England? This is a question that only English people must answer.

Vanesa.

P.S: Do you know what are Harry and Williams feelings or thoughts about Camilla?

The only quote we have that is from them personally that I know of is Harry's

'We love Camilla to bits' quote.

Some people believe that was told to say that but there was no need to say so much - he could have said something like 'She makes Papa happy so we like her very much' but he used the work 'love' and the extra 'to bits'.

I believe, from that comment and seeing them together on the balcony during the 60th Anniversary of the end of WWII celebrations last year, that Harry gets on very well with Camilla.

I can imagine and hope to see, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall as Queen Consort.

Harry's feelings towards his step-mum are made very clear in the interview he gave near his 21st birthday and can be found on this link: -
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4246518.stm
From the interview.
Prince Harry said the Duchess of Cornwall was "a wonderful woman and she's made our father very, very happy, which is the most important thing".

"William and I love her to bits. "To be honest with you, she's always been very close to me and William... but no, she's not the wicked stepmother. I'll say that right now."
:)
That seems to sum up what they think of Camilla, don't you think!:)

I've never seen Charles so happy - when you look at his face when he was with Diana (who I will admire forever), he always looked so restrained. With Camilla (I'm still not sure of her) he looks so much more "open" and happy. I am so glad that the princes like her and everyone gets along.

Thank you for the info!

I'm happy that now, the British Royal Family seems to be in harmony, and that Charles could have find familiar peace and love. It must be a great relief for him to see his sons getting along with Camilla. It would have been hard for him if they would reject her.

Vanesa.

xtan - times and people move on. Camilla and the boys get on really well it would appear. Charles is happier than we have seen him in many years. :)

The only thing I find striking about Camilla now is her confidence in front of the camera. She seemed to be such a private person. Especially the more recent photos of her show her positively beaming most of the times.

I am most definitely loving Camilla more and more each day. She and Charles are just so right together.

Just go to show you, it is never too late to try again.

I must say that I think that Camilla is winning hearts each and every day. I now know that she will be Queen and I think that at that time the public will just love her. She seems just perfect for the job. She was put in a postion that most people would not be able to handle. How would you like to be compaired to Princess Diana. I wish Camilla the best. I think that she will be one of the best love royals in no time at all.

I was 13 years old when Diana married into the Royal Family. I will always love her. She had something that very few people have. I don’t think you can put your finger on what it was, but it was there.

We will never know what would of happened if she had lived. It’s a question without an answer.

I was never fond of Camilla but after her marriage to Prince Charles I have grown to like her a great deal. She will never be the fashion icon that Diana was but I think she always looks great. Love her big hats. They so suit her.

She and Prince Charles have that easiness about them that I never saw before with Diana. Prince Charles I don’t recall every looking so relaxed and happy. :)

I was never one who was bothered about the idea of Charles and Camilla getting married when it was announced. I was surprised, definitely, but I never disliked or disapproved of the idea.

I realize that they both made mistakes and that committing adultery is immoral and was hurtful to the people around them such as their respective spouses and their children, and for Charles, for the monarchy as a whole. But they are also human and in each other (especially Charles), they found another person to lean on and to count on for support. Maybe they could've gone about being together a different way, but then their story wouldn't be as interesting as it is.

And since becoming a member of the royal family, daily I am impressed and charmed more and more by Camilla. I think she's taken on her royal engagements with a great amount of dedication and interest and people certainly respond to her well and warmly. And from the visit to the U.S. to this current trip to Saudi Arabia, I am more impressed by Camilla with how she handles herself with respect to the places she visits (mosques or memorials) and with the individuals she meets. I can't think of a single additional thing I'd ask for about in a princess. She conducts herself with an earthliness and humbleness that I think is wonderful. She doesn't put on airs and isn't so outrageously lavish in her attire.

Nobody in the royal family seems to be indifferent to Camilla and in fact respond and interact very warmly with her (as evident by the recent memorial service where she was greeted with a kiss from Sophie and chatted on the church steps with Princess Michael and Princess Alexandra), Harry and William, from what little they have said, have been positive about Camilla. And finally, Charles absolutely glows and is so much more animated and happy in her presence. Despite the hurt of the past, I'm glad to see him happy again; I think it's deserved. And in the long run, a happy Charles will make for a happy William and Harry and a happy monarchy.

Because they are contemptible people who calously used Diana Spencer to further their own ends expecting her to put up with a menage a trois arrangement not to mention the fact that Mrs Parker Bowles also expected her husband to put up with a facade of a marriage all to suit Charles and camillas selfish pursuit of their own pleasure. They never once appear to have stopped to consider the damage they were doing to other people
