Random images featured on Oprah in 1998. I have this book. It is absolutely beautiful and huge! And full of stunning photographs.
I think one of these days I might be tempted to scan some of them.

I came across Diana's Panorama interview when I was going through some of my tapes. She said something that I found so sad and almost a premonition of what lay in the future for her. She said she wanted to be the Queen of people's hearts but that " I dont see myself becoming Queen of this country"

Inside the Hello magazine there were just two pictures of Diana on the jetski. There was also a bit of background information on the photos:

"Just before returning to Britain after cruising down the Mediterranean, the royals' holiday yacht Alexander anchored off the cove of Talier in south-east Menorca. Only reachable by boat ... it was perfect for the royal party, who spent two days in the area and made a number of trips to the beach in a couple of small motor launches.
On their second day there, the Princess was standing on the prow of one of the launches when she saw a man buzzing around on a jetski. It looked like fun and Diana's interest was instantly aroused.
When Donaciano Sanchez Lorbada, a leading Madrid industrialist on holiday in Menorca, noticed that the Princess was intrigued, he called out to invite her for a ride.
Diana immediately agreed, dived head first into the water and swam over to Donaciano and his jetski.
The two of them took a 10-minute spin around the cove ...
Locals who had earlier seen the royal party hopping on and off the launches for trips to the shore and dips in the sea were very impressed with the Princess of Wales' spontaneity and natural way of being. As they told us: 'She's beautiful and very friendly. She greeted and chatted with everybody on the beach'"

Yennie, thanks for the kind words. I will continue posting ... I am fortunate to have quite an extensive collection on Princess Diana. My aunt was living in London during the 1980s and part of the '90s as well. She collected lots of clippings on Diana from the British newspapers, Hello magazine etc., and also bought magazines from other European countries. Shortly after returning to Canada, she gave her collection to me, as she was no longer very interested in the Royal family ... So there's lots there ... I just have to invest in a new scanner (mine finally broke down on the weekend).
