Old newspaper clips - 1980-1986

I love when you guys post old newspaper clippings for Princess Diana early years in the spotlight. Could we open a file on very old clip. Thanks so much!

I would prefer this thread remain as intended, 1980-86 a distinct period in Diana's life - hardworking princess and young mother.
The later years would involve coverage of the Morton book, bulimia, boyfriends, divorce, Camilla, Diana's death and the Fayeds, none of which I need to see again and are topics covered elsewhere in this forum and on the web.

I'm interested in the whole period, and although the issues that are specific only to the later years (which do not include bulimia, because she had that from at least the time of her pregnancy with William) arise in other threads, I would be interested in seeing the clippings together in one thread.

Perhaps there could be separate threads dealing with 1.1.80 to 31.12.86, and a separate one for clippings from 1.1.87 onwards.

Great idea, as I have lots of clippings filed away myself, but...

There is the issue of entire articles being scanned and posted. This is a breach of copyright and may place the Forums at risk of legal threat. Under both US and European Union copyright law no more than 20% of a published article may be reproduced without the permission of the copyright owner (ie the newspaper organisation, magazine or publishing house). The age of the article is irrelevant unless it was first published over 70 years ago. Since a scanned clipping cannot be accompanied by a link to the original source, we are unable to comply with copyright law as it applies to posting (or pasting) printed material on the internet.

Copyright as it relates to Message Boards is a touchy area. We cannot allow material to be posted which may place the Forums at risk.
