I wonder if Diana would have been okay with advocating war in Iraq but whatever ... .

25 years ago today, 1983: Princess Diana is "tired and fighting a brave battle against boredom"

Out of Our Past | battlecreekenquirer.com | The Enquirer

Strange thing to say.
---------------------------------
COWARD Paul Burrell told Americans yesterday he won’t return to Britain because he is just TOO FAMOUS

Paul Burrell 'too famous' for UK | Princess Diana | inquest | butler | The Sun |HomePage|News|Royals
----------------
Burrell seems to have become delusional!

I have to disagree with this statement from battlecreekenquirer.com:

"Compared with their barnstorming visit to Australia and New Zealand, the Canadian tour has failed to take off."

Ummm....I was in Canada at the time and well remember the excitement and the souvenirs and the special editions in the newspapers. I still have some. It's true that she wasn't mobbed like she was at the Sydney Opera House; but then Canada is a really, really big place and it's hard for people to get from, say, the Yukon to Toronto. I think that someone at the paper was being mischievous. ;-)

Kensignton Palace is now part of Charles' offices.

Princess Diana Remembered : Princess Diana's apartment at KP turned into offices for Prince Charles charities

That's a great news. To me, it symbolizes that taking care of charities and helping the others was a common goal for both.

Well at least it's for charity I think the Princess would have approved.

I'm happy he's using it for a good cause it's better to do something with it then just leave it there, Diana would have approved.

Nice picture, TheTruth! I'd not seen that one before. I'm trying to figure out where it was taken. I'm guessing in the Maritimes or Newfoundland because of all the Naval Cadets lining the route. Wish I could remember where she wore the yellow outfit.

Default Kp...

Too bad they didn't open up part of it to the public, as they did with Princess Margaret's apartment. They could have set up a display with a focus on Diana's many charitable causes, as they have at Althorp. However, I realize it isn’t in some of the royals’ best interest to keep her memory alive. (Onward, if not upward.)

On the other hand, it could have been set up as an office for a charity(ies) associated with Diana. Perhaps even William or Harry could have used it as offices...
