The Fail has it in for Earl Spencer. They always have, imo.

well he attacked the press for their chasing Diana, and attacked the RF for being unkind to her.. and then was found to be sleeping with several other women while with his wife. bound to be bad blood. however newspapers don't "like or dislike" people.. usualy. what they want is stories and money . Charles S's sex life will sell more than his running Althrop.

Wow that article was really nasty and uncalled for.

As the Duke of Cambridge was saying in his recent interview, the media wants the old drama of the past back. The DM and other outlets like throwing the past back in the faces of the select few. Fair and good articles on Earl Spencer just won't happen.

Kitty and David also both attended Elton John's AIDS fundraiser a few days ago. Sir Elton John and David Furnish's AIDS fundraiser at Woodside Gallery - Tatler

It would be amusing if the two are dating since David is the same age as her ex boyfriend Niccolo. Alas, the two are probably just pals.

I agree. He is a highly intelligent and readable author who seems a walking encyclopedia on the Spencer-Churchills and the other great families who figure so largely in British history.

But let's face it-the press and the Earl's detractors feel that his messy past and his ill-advised, emotional comments at his sister's funeral service are more important and more newsworthy.

To be fair, it touches on the old proverb:

Lady Kitty is dressed very old-lady in that awful black dress. It's okay when she's standing next to her sad looking mother but in that photo next to the pretty young woman in the checked skirt and black top, Kitty looks decidedly unfashionable for an outing of this kind. She's only 26. She needs to dress like it.

As for Victoria . . . I haven't seen her in many years and the years have not been kind. According to the article, she is 51. She looks as if she's had some "work" done on her face. She looks a bit "hard" to me. On the other hand, Charles, looks quite handsome.

I don't understand the fixation on Kitty s...she doesn't look like Diana (regardless of what they say) and seems to do little of anything except party.

She looks nothing like Diana so I don't get that either. I think that's just the Daily Fail trying to make something out of nothing. Sort of like when they compare a dress worn by Diana 30 years ago to something Kate wears and says she is "channeling Diana." They are just full of it. Just trying to fill their pages with dreck and Kitty is falling right into their clutches.

Victoria doesn't look well. Her skin looks smooth, but she doesn't look healthy. The years of anorexia and addiction weren't kind to her.

I agree, while Lady Kitty is an attractive woman, she does not look like her late aunt--except she's blonde, maybe that's the resemblance!

Viscount Althorp is a handsome man. I haven't seen a photo of him in quite awhile. He seems to have a bit of the Spencer red in his hair and beard.
