Princess Caroline of Hanover with husband Ernst August of Hanover leave the premiere for Michale Moore's controversial new film "Fahrenheit 911" at Le Palais de Festival at the 57th Cannes Film Festival on May 17, 2004 in Cannes, France. The US release of the film - about George Bush, terrorism, Iraq and Osama Bin Laden - has been delayed due to a distribution decision by Disney

Thanks for the pics.

I don't understand that with EA ... when I wear a brown jacket with blue jeans, it doesn't work for me - yet, like him I wear glasses, like him I have brownish hair, like him I am tall, while he has estates all over Europe I have shacks the world over I have lived in, like him I like my occasional glass of beer or wine, like him I like to ski, like him I have been in Monaco .....

Swedish paper Aftonbladet writes that Ernst was to hangover to go to the wedding cermony last saturday.- Apparently he and prince Charles partied and drank heavily on the pre wedding party. But Charles was able to attend the service...

Prinsen bakfull - missade bröllop

REDO FÖR FEST Kvällen före bröllopet i Madrid bjöds det på galamiddag. Prins Ernst August kom med hustrun Caroline av Monaco. Och gick sist av alla efter att ha druckit drinkar med prins Charles.
Prinsessan Carolines make, prins Ernst August, missade kronprinsvigseln i Madrid.
Kvällen innan hade han suttit och supit med Englands prins Charles.
Klockan 9.44 i lördags morse kom prinsessan Caroline av Monaco till Almudenakatedralen.
Ensam.
Platsen bredvid henne i kyrkan, på bänk 8 i zon 1, stod tom under hela vigseln mellan den spanske kronprinsen Felipe och tv-journalisten Letizia Ortiz.
Enligt den tyska tidningen Bild am Sonntag började ryktena genast ta fart bland prinsar, prinsessor, kungar och drottningar från de 40 kungahus som fanns med vid bröllopet.

Drack gränslöst
Ingen hade undgått att se hur Ernst August av Hannover på festen kvällen innan först drack gränslöst mycket av det fina spanska rödvinet, Matorraomera Reserva 1995, som serverades till sparris med tryffel, och ankbröst i rödvinssås i Pardopalatset utanför Madrid.
Efter middagen serverades rikligt med drinkar. Och Ernst August och prins Charles trivdes så bra tillsammans och med all dryckjom att de blev de sista att lämna slottet.

Kom till banketten
Prins Charles orkade upp till vigseln, men inte Ernst August.
Tysk press konstaterar att Ernst Augusts frånvaro under vigseln inte var direkt medicinskt betingad, ingen läkare hade tillkallats.
Och till banketten efter vigseln, där det åter serverades eleganta alkoholhaltiga drycker, dök den tyske prinsen plötsligt upp.

"I´m shocked, shocked", to quote Captain Renault from Casablanca. He says this as he finds out that there has been gambling going on. He is then interrupted by a croupier who hands him his winnings. :P
