I think it was this famous night she wore this dress without the broch, and her breast was shown and taken on picture. It made a scandal at this time and Pcss Grace was very angry!

She didn't like smoking and wasn't keen on her children starting up, either.

As for Caroline smoking in front of her Mum?
Heck, she did THAT all the time!

Grace used to excuse her kids' seemingly-rebellious behaviour by saying: Well, they ARE Mediterrean, you know!

She had to have meant it jokingly ... I would hope so!

I can recall seeing pictures of Caroline driving Bjorn Borg in this car- he's perched high on the back (wouldn't be allowed nowadays), & if I remember right it was a cream open top mercedes. I'll have a look & see if I can find a picture.

Oh, I had read on the forums that Grace had smoked. Now I love her even more because opposed it! The whole Mediterrenean thing isn't an excuse, but I think she was just vouching for her children.

Though I say it myself, in the pic on the right hand side in the 6th row, she looks like me when we were both teens! Tomorrow I'm turning 50 myself!
