Caroline is a gorgeous lady. I always wondered that she or Stephanie didn't look a little more like their mother. Prince Albert does but only a little, and he doesn't count being a guy and all. Actually, they don't look much like their father either, but do resemble his mother I think it is, Charlotte?
Of the grandchildren, it seems the only ones that look like Princess Grace are some of Stephanie's children -- Louis and Camille (names?), but it could just be classic good looks. The thought has never crossed my mind that Grace and Ranier hired a surrogate mother for the childbirth duties, nope, I never considered that possibility. I mean after all, there were pictures of a pregnant Princess Grace. Wasn't there? B)

Thissal, you crack me up. Caroline looks a great deal like her late grandmother, Charlotte. I see a combination of Rainier and Grace in Caroline sometimes but Caroline definitely looks like her paternal grandmother.
To me Stephanie looks like Rainier most of the time. She has his eyes and eyebrows. Now, sometimes I will see an expression that reminds me of Grace.
Albert looks like a Kelly/Grimaldi. I can see his mum in his eyes but that's about it. He actually looks a great deal like his paternal grandfather, Prince Pierre....same oval face and tall.
As for Caroline's children w/ Casiraghi, Andrea looks like his father (although I see a little bit of Grace in him) and as we have all said, Charlotte was most appropriately named after her grandmother considering she looks like her mum and in turn her mum like grandmum Charlotte. Pierre looks like a Casiraghi to me and Alexandra looks like Ernst, IMHO.
Stephanie's Pauline looks like her mummy; Louis looks a bit like Albert and Camille looks like Stephanie and Grace. She is really the only grandchild, apart from Andrea, who got some of the Kelly genes...at least to me. :)

Thanks much Julia. Princess Charlotte definitely had the dominant genes in the family. She must have been an interesting lady, but what I remember hearing about her is too vague to recall in type.

Princess Charlotte was considered to be somewhat of a bohemian w/ a unique sense of style. She was born out-of-wedlock to Prince Louis and aFrench-Algerian washerwoman called Juliette Louvre (I think).
Charlotte did not have the easiest of existances as she was once looked upon as being nothing more than Prince Louis' bastard daughter and then the savior of Monaco when there was no other heir to the throne.
She was said to have a hot temper and hated Grace.
