Her birthplace isn't much far from where I live. She's something in common with Silvana Mangano as they both were born of Italian fathers and English mothers.

I especially like the second one, as I had known that
Caroline is the godmother of Ines' daughter but had
never seen a pic..

On the first one, she looked very beautiful at 1980's Red Cross although it was not one of the best days of her life, since Phillipe wasn't with her and then all the comments about their separation began. :(

Yes, Monaco70's, it was a bad period for Caro then. I remeber that Novella 2000 noticed that she wasn't wearing her wedding ring anymore on that occasion.

Indeed I have some magazines from that time (Aug - Oct. 1980) and they mention that, also of her being very sad on the Ball, Phillipe being in NY with other women at the discotheques of the era etc
