Yo are right, I've even always though that is was a sign on low level woman (or an old granma, being constantly cold), I've never wear such !!!! I know that special hosiery exists for this kind of sandals, in the skin colour, and open at the end, I've bought once but it broke immediately

But when such an elegant princess wear it , we may should reconsider

Default Caroline at the Monte Carlo ballet

December 27, I think. She and Albert attended the ballet. It was the 20th anniversary of the Monte Carlo ballet, according to hola.

The same pics above can be found in this week's issue of "Point de Vue" I bought when I was in France: the dancers' costumes are a bit "revealing". I'm wondering if Princess Grace would have tolerate them...
All the best to you!

The article basically talks Caroline against a paparazzi again, this time for taking some pics of her in Sept. 1996 while she was driving her car and suffered from alopecia.

The photographer and his wife have to pay a fine.

We know both Ernst and Caroline have titles, but it seems they only attend events related to Caroline's duties. Does Ernst have any official or royal duties?

He doesn't even have a legal title! His titles are neither recognized by the Germans (no titles since 1918) nor by the Brits (they only accept descendents to 3rd generation he is 5th). So if you should ever meet him, ther would be no need to address him with Highness or royal Highness etc, because he is the same as you and me, just richer.

Thanks for clearing that up. I knew that there is no longer a "royal" family recognized in Germany, but I thought he may have some duties there or in GB - I guess not....I'm confused, then, on how Alexandria has an official title if his isn't recognized anywhere; do EAJ and Christian have titles (or not because their mother was a commoner)?

They are all styled princes. If ernsts title isn't lawful, then of course theirs aren't either. If you like you can get more details at wikipedia. Search for his name and you get all info.

Princess Caroline has an English because she attended school in England. I am not sure about Prince Ernst though, he grew up in Germany and then went to college in Canada but then lived in England with Chantal...
