Actually Caro was with Roberto before their mothers died (they both died in Sept 1982); I think they even went to meet Ingrid in Stocholm, and she died exactly two weeks before Grace...
I've read that Caro was with Roberto at Ingrid's funeral and viceversa, but I'm not sure about this as I've never seen any pic of him at Grace's funeral...
