Since Caroline is president of Amade (a foundation for children), I think she could go to Syria now and protest for all this mess there (chemicals etc). Her voice would be very important at this moment. I don't like looking her in never ending vacations when she can affect the rulers of the world, or, at least, shows that she really cares about this bad situation there.

Monaco's barely a real country. It's more of a tax haven for a few very wealthy people and a place for the people who work for the Princely family to live. Caroline's not a major power player on the world scene nor has she ever been.

I don't mean that in a derogatory way. The work she does is good. But it's a bit delusional to think she's the person who can influence international conflicts.
