i once read a biography of rainier and grace and an adult caroline was quoted as saying that as a teenager, princess grace would never allow her to wear a bikini while out at the beach and that she never understood why...

We forever see Ernst enjoying Caroline's toys, but I have yet to see Caroline and the clan enjoying toys owned by him or his family. Where is the Hanover boat, vacation property, etc? Do they own anything? It seems that all Ernst does is freeload off Caroline and the Grimaldi fortune. He has such the life!

maybe ernst haven´t a boat.or caro´s is better....i don´t know.we all know more about the grimaldis i think :) .

Maybe since the Grimaldi family is a reigning family they have property and because the House of Hannover doesn't reign anymore they gave up their property?

Maybe property of the latter house was given to them to use by the country or region during their reign and was taken back after they gave up their rights(or the rights were taken from them?).

They spend some time of their holidays in Lamu. Ernst has a great house there. Also he has several houses in Austria where they have been several times.

Yes, they are. In fact I think there are even a few pictures that show the inside of the house in Lamu.

Yes, I read about that, too. Seems like Grace thought it wasn't proper for Caroline to wear a two-piece swim wear... not proper for a princess, that is.

On an earlier post, it was mentioned that Ernst seems to be freeloading on Caroline. I doubt. He's very wealthy on his own and they have a financial agreement, I think.

i thought that house in Kenya where they used to vacation was also his... they just like vacationing in the mediterranean where caro's toys are nearby!
