International Jumping de Monte-Carlo: 2006 - 2019, 2021 - 2023

Charlene, Albert, Caroline and Charlotte at the Monte Carlo jumping event....they all seem to get along well

Charlotte and Edwina came in 2nd in the Pro-Am and each won 8,000 Euros. Charlotte faulted on the last fence, as did many others, but Edwina cancelled it out by clearing the same fence but at a higher height. The height for the amateurs was 1.35m and she was riding Troy. In an earlier competition, Charlotte came in 17/27 with 4 faults on Madison D'olgy at 1.25m.
 
Charlotte seems especially close to Albert here. :)


ETA: oops, just saw all the other pics posted as well up above! :) My favorite picture is the one of Caroline with her girls, OMG, they all look like sisters there! :heart1: And what a tall lithe beauty Princess Alexandra is growing up to be ~ she looks more & more like Caroline each day, and in turn I see shades of her big sis in there as well ~ both beauties!

But the funniest picture has to be the one of Albert, Charlene, and Caroline; I was on the floor laughing at Caroline's expression! :ROFLMAO: I wonder what she saw?

Today, Charlotte came in 3/41 on Troy at 1.30cm and she won 1,500 Euros, with Madison D'olgy came in 4/41 and she won 800 Euros.

I wondered the same until I found this pic of Charlotte: maybe Caroline's pic was taken at the same time? Or maybe Caroline had this expression when she saw Charlotte doing this! :lol:

I know that the link has already been posted, but on profimedia you have plenty pictures of Charlotte in her green Gucci trousers. She was giving a cup to the winner. I personnaly love this pic, but unfortunately it is tagged...
 
Somebody got a confidence boost from doing well in the Pro-Am last nite. 3rd and 4th place is great! Of course, TrepStep would say it is all the horses' doing. Charlotte has already passed her winnings from all of 2010 at the GCT; even if you exclude the 8000 Euros from the Pro-Am. She continues to progress.
 
At first I too was laughing, but then when I saw the pic LovelyKate posted wherein it looks like Charlotte might've taken a fall with her horse, that sobered me up quick! :eek:

Seriously, it brought flashbacks when Christopher Reeve fell off his horse and broke his neck, and also when Charlotte took a horrific fall off her horse in her teens, and Andrea was right there by her side on the ground seeing if she was hurt (I recall she was holding her jaw). Such a dangerous sport, my hat goes off to her, a real trooper just like her World Champion Off-Shore Speed Boat Racing father Stefano. :cool:

That said, my heart goes out to Caroline, now I totally understand her expression.



ETA: lol just saw the pic wherein Charlotte has a wedgie and is doing something about it, reminds me of female skaters on ice. :D

Uhm, i'm not sure about Charlotte's whole outfit. The colour of the dress is nice, but she looks like she had just left the beach... :ermm: :ermm: :ermm:

This dress is really nice but i think it's not suitable for the evening time. I like her make up and lipstick, though.
 
It seems that she wears a pink "pareo" (I don't know the word in english). An unusual fashion faux pas, she's always classy for this event! I like her make up + her hair.

I saw other pics of Charlotte, on the gallery posted by LadyRomanov, and with a closer view the dress doesn't look at a pareo at all!
Even if the cut of this dress is a bit strange, I like the fact that she wears some pink. :)

^ I'm not sure where she found the pic, but if you go to the gct website they have a few more pictures. It is from the Pro-Am Cup. Charlotte and Edwina got 2nd place. http://www.globalchampionstour.com/gallery/pictures/1. On pages 1 and 2 there are lots of pics of Charlotte (in the pink dress, and the red and white outfit).

Caroline looks pretty young in those last few pics. Charlotte's face is gorgeous as per usual, but I think she looks a little too skinny. And although I personally would never wear it, the green pants look good on her. Appropriate heels too.

Thank you, Iceflower! I like Bea's dress now that i see it from a better angle.
I'm not crazy about Char's outfit that much but i want her to wear such colors. She reminds me of the 05 till 07 period.

What can i say about P. Caroline?!? Words are needless, beauty speaks for itself! :sun: :sun: :sun:
 
Charlotte looked so beautiful during these days and Caroline was just stunning as usual.
It was so nice to see the whole family together and supporting Charlotte. They seem like a really close family.
Even Charlotte's godmother Albina du Boisrouvray came. Does anyone know how close they are (Charlotte and Albina)? Do they keep in touch frequentely or just see each other once or twice a year? I know Albina has a house in Portugal but judging by the location I would say it's more like a house for holidays. Where does she live most of the year? Maybe Paris? In that case she could see Charlotte more oftenly.
 
Yes, I agree Caroline looks beautiful and elegant as usual. I´m sure I have seen that skirt before.
