Gad Elmaleh ‏@gadelmaleh 7 h Ceux qui vous disent "j'ai dormi comme un bébé"... n'ont jamais eu de bébé:)

She is very beautiful, like in her teenage years! Being a mother has done her good!

I hope they don't have a nanny. I know that most of the rich people have, but Charlotte is not a busy woman, so i think she can dedicate time to raise her child alone.
It's not a big deal, when i see women that work can manage it, too.

Of course they have a nunny! But this does not mean that Charlotte and Gad won't take personal care of Rafael. The proof is the pic of him taking out the baby. Both her and Gad have a strong social life out and they need a "back up" at home they trust.

Lovely pix... Gad smiling proudly, it makes my day !

Who says there is a baby in that stroller? ;) After all Gad is a comedian...

and then? it means that he has to make jokes all the time? i don't think so.. :ermm:

I was thinking the exact same thing. Many famous people who have just become parents do the stroller walk soon after they have a new arrival because they know the paps and the public demand to see this, and will begin floating the "something is wrong with the baby" nonsense if they don't see this little ritual. And sometimes the stroller is just...empty.

Not saying that's the case with Gad and Charlotte but it did cross my mind...:whistling:

I think it would be a bit much to expect a woman who was raised, with the help of, nannies, and who was the daughter of a woman who was the same to not have a nanny. In her milieu it is natural, and I am sure she would not know how it is supposed to be otherwise. When you have that much money life is different. She does not work but she socialises, who else would be minding the baby then. She is not going to be like the rest of us: exhausted, puked on, a physical and internal mess. Her own mother was as hands on as she could be though it seems, so I am sure she will do some of the 'dirty' work.

As hands on as she was, even Princess Caroline had help since during her childbearing years in the 1980's she was also carrying out her official duties as her father Prince Rainier's Premiere Dame. Stefano was often away from Monaco on sport and business related activities.

Therefore, who was at home taking care of the day to day needs of infants and small children?

I think it's incorrect to assume that just because a woman has nannies she is a disinterested, bad parent. For Royal women and mothers of a certain social strata who are very busy and carry out lots of duties, help is essential to good parenting, not a detriment.

Paparazzi will not be satisfied just to photograph a stroller ... :whistling:

Princess Caroline always had nannies. When she was living in St Remy and not carrying out many duties she had full time nannies. I remember seeing many pictures of Caroline, the nanny, and the kids walking home from school, or wherever. Charlotte doesn't have the commitments of either Caroline or Grace but for her it is just natural to have one.

Any working Mother has day care, babysitters or family to help. You can't go to work and leave a baby alone.

People get very very funny about it, like it is a failure to have a nanny... no matter how busy you are, and how many evenings and nights you have to be away from home. A lot of famous people lie about it too in the media. In all honesty though who do the public think look after the children? Putting that much pressure and responsibility on a family member is just unfair, what friend would do it, day care does not stay open all night. It is just responsible parenting, but for some reason is stigmatised to a certain extent.

Just because Charlotte doesn't have a conventional 9:00 to 5:00 job doesn't mean she isn't working. She works for Gucci and Cartier. She partially owns 3 small businesses: Ever Manifesto, Swoon Productions and producing the programs for the Global Champions Tour. She probably is also an investor in the Global Champions Tour and the Gucci Masters. Finally , what you call socializing , I see as promoting Monaco.

It looks like the Ever Manifesto site is being upgraded and something will be coming out soon.

She does not really work, not in any sense of the normal usage of that word. She did a bit for writing, vaguely, way back but very few of those things actually promotes Monaco but all credit to her for doing them. All credit to her for doing anything I suppose, she does not have too. However, it would be far more fitting, but she is not required to do it, to do some work for some charity or other.

Most royals do not work. The English call work cutting ribbons and showing up for this or that, but they always have nannies. It is a convenience in most of their cases, not a monetary problem. They also don't cook or do dishes, laundry, shop for groceries. So, too, is the case for celebrities. So, here you have it.

Very sensible comment. All these people are used to have full time help, so why it should be otherwise?
And sincerely, when someone can do the job for you, why you have to do it yourself, in a DAILY basis?

I think there is a little more involved than just cutting ribbons but I take the point that it is nowhere near the humdrum of most people's working lives. I think some of them do shop and cook etc. sometimes if only to prove to themselves that they can do it. Caroline and Kate have both been photographed doing the groceries on occasion.

Well, i wouldn't use the word "working" for Charlotte. I would say that she fills her time with some activities. She gets involved in many different things just to do something. Horseback - riding, Swoon Productions -i have heard nothing of it- and Ever Manifesto -which i bet it's in mute for a year(s) and so on.

I think we should better get back to the current events, as i feel, we are out of topic :p

Thanks for the photos, priyanka!

 hihi, Dad is not sleeping and Mum shopping, good teamwork :ROFLMAO:
Bye Bine

.

Charlotte has been pictured shopping again, here are two pics:

This photos are dated January 16th :)

I don't understand this part..

"It takes a while to adjust to the new role of mother. We hope that felt comedian, boyfriend Gad Elmaleh, left by her side now that they're parents and will raise a son together."

Why should not he? because they are not married? I hate these comments .. :bang:
