^I don't know any of this to be absolutely true or false. But this is the best, most educated guess I have to offer re: Casiraghi edu: (excluding pre-secondary level)

Andrea
1) International School of Paris: 1999-2003 (having had to take the IB twice)
2) McGill University: 2003/2004 (at least semester term there, maybe two, i.e. Fall 2003 through Spring 2004)
3) AUP: Fall 2004 through Spring 2007 (my theory puts him getting his Bachelor's in 2007)
4) The New School: Fall 2008/Spring 2009
5) Started internship @ embassy: September 2009 (probably was just a one-year internship, and might have been part of his thesis @ TNS)

Charlotte
1) Lycée François Couperin, Fontainebleau (2001-2004)
2) CPGE/hypokhâgne-khâgne course @ Lycée Fenelon, Paris (2004-2006)
3) Third year toward License of Philosophy from Sorbonne IV: 2006-2007 (the two years @ Fenelon counted as the first two, and it's a three-year degree)
4) 2007-2008: Two internships (publishing house of Pierre Laffont, Paris & The Independent on Sunday magazine in London)

Pierre
1) Lycée François Couperin, Fontainebleau (2002-2005)
2) Gap year (I believe he took one) 2005-2006
3) Bocconi University, Milan: Started in September 2006
4) 2006-2007, 2007-2008, 2008-2009 (the degree he was going for was for three years, but supposedly, if the tabloids and gossips from inside his university can be trusted, he failed exams at least once, maybe twice and had to repeat a lot of work)
5) He signed the papers to assume majority shares of Engeco S.A.-Monaco: June 2009

In this week's Gala magazine Thierry Rozier (Charlotte's trainer) says that after getting her 'bac' she completed hypokhâgne and khâgne and then went living in England. Two years ago she told Thierry that now she finished her studies she wanted to take her horse riding hobby to a higher level.

I'm not particularly familiar with French educational system but apparently hypokhâgne and khâgne are the first and second year respectively in some preparatory schools. It is something between high school and University. So that means she never attended University?

Hypokhagne and Khagne is a special program equivalent to the first 2 years of college for those trying to get into the French ENS program; the equivalent of a Harvard or Oxford. It sounds like they only take about 75 out of about 2000 applicants (for each major). You have to take a written exam after 2 years and if you pass that you have an oral exam. As far as the people on this forum can tell she didn't pass the written exam and didn't try to retake it. Some think she went a 3rd year to the Sorbonne and got a philosophy certificate. We do know that she did internships with a French publishing house and then a British newspaper and magazine.

Mmm...i don't want to sound negative, but...it looks like her studies are all blahblah and as she is Princess Caroline's daughter, she got to do an internship in these magazines, and that's it.

As she is Princess Caroline's daughter, it doesn't matter what she studied or she does. Whatever she does, she will always be harshly criticized or praised. We spoke about her as if we've known her all her life but we only know her by photos!!

Same for her brothers.

My english is very bad, sorry. I hope you understand.

But that's the way world is. We all pay a price. I don't think we bash on her harshly. Her mother gave her a choice, a piece of freedom. She, however, decided to step into public arena, which she did in many ways. People will always speculate. But she's interesting. She knows that she attracts a great deal of atention and at some point, she likes it. It's like a runaway train, you can't stop it.

Rerehh, your English is good - believe me....

La Bouche d'Or is right - everyone pays a price, whether young or old, rich or poor, famous or nameless.

Many of us are not famous - but we could become well-known through the media, especially in the current climate of "celebrity".

I appeared on a quiz show a long time ago, and I regretted it! For about two years, people kept telling me they had seen me on TV.......... never again.

She didn't choose to be in the public eye. It's her job just like it has been for Princess Grace and Princess Caroline. Members of Monaco's royal family are constitutionally bound to do whatever PA asks them. The thing that has changed is that PA is allowing her to be in the public eye thru show jumping and less thru things like fashion shows. Monaco has relied heavily on their beautiful women to build and maintain their glamorous image.

No, not a traditional four-year university like the Ivy League and "Seven Sisters" in the US. But the two years of CPGE (Classes Preparatoire Grandes Ecoles, or Preparatory Course for the 'Grandes Ecoles', which is literally translated as Big or Higher Schools) equates the first two years of a university, at least in France, i.e. the University of Paris/Sorbonne system. What Charlotte did at Lycee Fenelon (the cPGE) is really more impressive than going to a traditional university, in my opinion. I am pretty sure it is harder to get into something like that than to get into American University of Paris or Bocconi University. Mainly because the CPGEs are publicly funded, so they have limited number of places and consequently, they only take the people who have the best exam scores. In one sense, it is free, but in another sense, it is not free at all since you have to work very hard to get into it! Charlotte took the written exam for entrance to the Ecole Normale Superieure in June 2006. As Fanofmonaco pointed out, she did not make the list to go onto the next phase, which is oral. So some people have assumed she completed a "license" (similar, but not exactly the same as a bachelor's degree) @ Sorbonne IV. It is probable that she did do this, because she had only one year of study left to gain it, and why not? At the same time, it was reported @ the time that she was fed up with her studies and chose to concentrate her powers on some practical experience in the fashion-art-publishing world instead. In any case, as Fanofmonaco said, we do know that she did the internships because she has directly confirmed this in the La Stampa interview.

So Charlotte does not have a college degree?

We don't know. Wikipedia says that Princess Caroline also went to Lycee Fenelon. That's the first time I have seen that. Don't know if it is true or not.

I've been reading the Hola issue where Andrea appears (yes, i have a copy) and what he says about his studies is this:
His job at the embassy consists in doing some practices at the cabinet of His Excellence Mohamed Gaham Al Quwari, who is the ambassador of Qatari in France. He has already participated in the organization of several cultural and sportive events, since last summer.
Then he says he is very interested in AMADE and the Fondation Motrice...
He also said that he is very interested in ecology, so from time to time he visits Monaco or something to make sure how things are going with the Principality.

I'm not saying this is correct, but I thought I would share it here. It's a little blurb about Pierre in one of those "royal bachelors leftover-since-prince-william-got-hitched" thingies: "The Good Prince Guide," source: The Independent

Quote:
Pierre Casiraghi of Monaco

The son of Princess Caroline began making frequent appearances in gossip columns during his time studying in Milan. Although he left without a degree, he was linked to a string of women including Alice Dellal, Caroline Winberg and his current girlfriend, Beatrice Borromeo.
IDK. It is The Independent. Not exactly a tabloid.

In her Elle interview Charlotte speaks about her studies
http://a.yfrog.com/img835/7916/pomelineskyrock78.jpg
After her bac she stopped horse riding because she went to Paris to do prepatory studies for the Ecole Normale Supérieure (Khagne & Hypokhagne?)
Then she went to London for her internship

2 questions later she says that a year and a half ago she finished her philosphy studies
