While I am sure some people envy their beauty and money, and I agree that Beatrice shouldn't be judged by parents and/or grandmother the issue for some is the hypocrisy that they see.

As Tosca mentioned...its hard for someone to believe in someone's sincerity about helping the people of Africa if it appears that you do nothing to help the people of Africa. Now if you are donating money or doing projects that no one sees...that's totally different. Now I would be curious to see why she said Monte Carlo sucked...is the glamour...the tourists...the abundance of money.....there could be a variety of reasons....but it does seem weird that you are hanging with the very people who are the embodiment of Monte Carlo.

But there are tons of people like that (as Moby pointed out) who preach global environment, helping third world countries, etc who go home to their nice chateaus, eating caviar and spending thousands on a dress.

^I was wondering the same thing. It makes a huge difference. Did she say outright, "I am a Communist," and or does she merely claim political opinions that are of a Leftist/socialist/Marxist nature? Because those are very different things. It's one thing to be a socialist by definition, and another to be a Leftist or liberal thinker.

Just for the record, there are no real "by the book" communists in Italy...those that call themselves communists can be classified as an old school labour party, a little to the left of social democracy. And Beatrice didn't even vote for them but for a center-centerleft party (as she declared in several interviews).

HUH?! There are plenty of pics of them w/male friends, including their step brothers, Stavros, the Santo Domingo men, on vacation, partying, etc. I think the 'razzi likes to get them on dates or with women, because that sells more pictures to papers and magazines.

You know, I sometimes feel like Charlotte and their brothers were movie stars. They look great, their gradma was a beauty star, they came from glamorous Monaco. I imagine Andrea and Tatiana in adventure story, some like Indiana Jones, they like travelling... Pierre maybe action films or drama. Charlotte could play in every film: drama (she's so serious, romantic movie, comedy... Ok, that's off topic but well... Nice dreams. I would go on their films with pleasure.

^^they sure look like movie stars. They are even more handsome/beautiful than a lot of Hollywood stars that we have today. We only would need to see if they have talent (you know, beauty is not everything)
And about the male friends, of course they have, both male and female. The Casiraghis seems to be very friendly people, so I assume (as I see in pics) that they have a lot of friends, no matter gender.
