Are Charlotte and Valentine friends any longer? I have not seen any pics of the two of them hanging out together for a long time now. They used to be together all the time, did not they?
And was she really dating Pierre a couple of years ago.
Do you have any info/pics of Valentine, please post them.
Did she attend official engagements with Charlotte/The Casiraghis and Princess Caroline? I've seen several pictures of them at what seems to be quite offical engagements with a lot of media present. How come other royals (like the Windsors) not bringing any friends with them to galas and so on if they can?
Are there any particulary rules or etiquette about that?

They were both on the Chez Marionnaud-sponsored equestrian team, so they were in the same show jumping competitions and attended the same Marionnaud events.

Valentine and Charlotte were sort of like poster girls for the Marionnaud-sponsored equestrian team. That's why they often wore the M logo in public and attended many official events together.

On Netty's Royal Blue [i think it was that site...] one member claiming to know Valentine and Charlotte said that they weren't really good friends at all but it only seemed like they were best friends because they always happened to attend the same kinds of functions [horse competitions etc.] - i think that person is also a member here but i haven't seen her post anything for a very long time...

Don't you remember the photos of Char and Val at the Salon du Cheval (Char wearing a gray suit) were they are hugging each other? And this birthday party where we had the Point de Vue photos with them jumping into a pool and having fun? They were not only together for promotional reasons. Besides, I'm sorry that the two aren't together anymore bacause Val seemed a lot more down to earth than her friends like Eugenie, who seems to be very extravagant.

Well we don't actually know that they were dating. I sort of have the feeling that Pierre had a crush on Valentine but Valentine felt that she was just too old for Pierre.

i have never think of pierre as "skinny blond dude" :) :) ...but as you mentioned it, i guess you are right!!...but i thought european likes that type of physics..many male models there are skinny aren't they?

I heard in 2004 she was a Dauphine student of economics or business. I didn't hear the Italy studies rumor. Maybe she is studying there for a term or two. Val just dropped off the radar, didn't she? It seemed like it was her dancing with Char at the VIP Room last March. That was the last time they were together, as far as the pictures show. I've wondered if they have cooled to each other? There were times when they were together when they looked happy, but other times when Char looked really miserable. I have wondered if there was a disagreement between them and they stopped hanging out because of it.

I have another question about the family that I hope somebody will be able to answer.
I understand that Princess Antoinette's sone Christian De Massy has been cut off from the family and banished from Monaco since he wrote a book about the family in 1986 which is why we don't see him at any family events but we do see his daughter Laetizia de Massy from his first marriage to Maria Marta Quintana. It seems as if she lives in Monaco then I presume. Also Christian's second wife Michelle with whom he has two sons, Brice and Antoine, died from drugs.
Does anybody know if Christian is still banished from Monaco, as he was seen in the background at Rainier's funeral, and how close the family are to Laetizia and if Laetizia is still in contact with her father? I guess that since we have seen her with the family at events that even if the family don't talk to her father they still accept her and are close to her.

I've hear that he was bannished after a bad publication of the family but I think that now I can come in monaco but He'sn't a VIP !:p I saw him at the Prince Rainier's funeral ! but no as a personality of the family !
