Prince Harry has given his support to Pennies: The Electronic Charity Box.

"Pennies' idea of using your card to pay into an electronic charity box is simple but brilliant. It makes giving a few pence to charity, including smaller charities which often miss out, so easy."

Additionally, an announcement was made by the Clarence House Twitter account and promptly retweeted by @pennies_ebox. Looks like one of the charities that Pennies supports is the Prince's Trust.

http://http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1339555/Kate-Middleton-Prince-William-engagement-Harry-pleased-gain-sister.html

It is actually features some excerpts of an interview that Harry gave to Bild in honor of his upcoming award.

It is admittedly not much about his charity work which is quite disappointing as he is quite accomplished in this area and deserves some credit for what he has achieved. Hopefully tomorrow there will be better interviews and lots of pictures. With hopefully no more mentions of William and Kate as Harry deserves some attention. Besides his comments about Kate were reported when the engagement was announced.

Once again...Thanks for the link. I love that Harry is so passionate about his charities. The Zulu War Talks was also interesting to read about as I was not familiar with the event.

I am surprised that Harry has a public engagement on Aug. 31. I figured he would want to spend that day in private and alone.... of course on days like that it helps to keep busy...

I think doing something like this on that day in particular is a great idea. He will be reminded of his mother, but in a good way. He would be doing something that she would have approved of, and done herself. And yes, on days like that it's better to keep busy. Doesn't mean that one forgets the loss, but prevents one from going into a deep funk. I have no doubt he'll remember his mother that day.

That is true.... helping sick kids is something Diana loved to do, and this is just the sort of thing she'd do if she was here. She would be proud of Harry for doing so. And he will remember her in a good way. No doubt there.
And now I just summarized what you said, LOL.

Tommorow Harry will be presenting one of the awards at the WellChild annual awards ceremony. Should be some cute pics, he seems to be great, and love being with kids. Would make his mom smile.

There was an article in the 'Daily Mail' that talked about the children that will be receiving these awards. It will be a very special day for all involved for so many reasons.
